Chapter 7

What to do next?
Time skip...
A whole week goes by without much happening. Your need for sugar has become unbelievably elevated, something that your family has noticed. You see the concern in their expressions, but no one tells you anything. Experience has taught them that no matter what they say, you will do what you want.
The number of nanomachines is now high. You now know that the machines are not actually replicated within you, but are an extremely complex and relatively self-sufficient system. The nanoprobes serve as sensors and scanners, both for the system itself and for your body. Nanomaterials serve as a building material, and are capable of mixing with glucose to turn it into more nanomaterial. Nanoqbytes are literally quantum nanocomputers whose function is to store and run the system. Nanocytes are artificial cells that serve as the interface between your biology and technology. Lastly, nanobots are builders and repairbots, using the available nanomaterial to create more nanomachines.
You have stored several liters of your own blood during the week. Your blood contains millions of nanomachines, a surplus that you have been accumulating for a while with the intention of building something. Outside of your body, nanomachines can alter your blood without compromising your biology, something they've been doing for a while, creating different electrolytic fluids as a source of energy, as well as different metals, gases, and acids to create various complex chemical reactions. Some elements are incredibly exotic, things that could normally only be obtained temporarily in a particle accelerator, but something that nanomachines can do by being able to work on a subatomic scale. You notice that they have even been able to modify the containers in which your blood was stored, creating valves and connectors that now allow one container to be hooked to another in a closed circuit.
You do just that, the system guiding you so you know where to connect what. The device has a blood extractor, so you can keep adding resources to it, which you do right away. You've also made sure to store lots of junk in an abandoned place that only you know about, and that's where you take your new exotic gadget.
To your surprise, the moment you place the device on the ground, several of the valves and tubes open. At first you think that the object could not have survived the transfer, but soon you notice that the released liquids and gases begin to interact with the surrounding garbage and the surrounding air, forming a protective dome. To your surprise, in a matter of minutes, a micro-factory has been formed from nothing, ready to reuse all the stored garbage. There is still a blood extractor, but also several mechanisms to introduce garbage of different sizes. In addition, the protective barrier does not let out any of the gases or vapors generated, even when it lets in outside air. You have just created a highly efficient and non-polluting garbage recycler.
Another week passes without too many incidents. You donate a little more of your blood to the factory for the first few days, but the extractor soon wears off. The system is now able to use the garbage to continue to grow and evolve on its own. It is also capable of creating more recyclers, something that you have used to your advantage, distributing them to the different dumps and junkyards in the area. The new recyclers are able to camouflage themselves, so no one will notice them. Of course, they will eventually notice the trash gone, but by then you hope to have a contingency plan in place. Maybe you should start your own efficient recycling company? After all, your recyclers not only decontaminate the air, but their waste is usable materials again. Exotic materials, but usable nonetheless. You could literally get rich as all the machines are connected to you so no one will ever be able to figure out how they work. They will disintegrate the moment someone tries.

More Than Human.
Someone in the multiverse grants you incredible powers.
You are an average nerd without too many redeeming characteristics. Even your intelligence doesn't help you as it relies entirely on your geek knowledge. You know everything there is to know about video games, movies, comics... You never thought this would be useful, but it sounds like you've caught the attention of someone important. And powerful. And divine. Welcome to your new life.
