“No that is all”, Marie said smugly.

“Alright then”, Mark said, breaking off his connection.

Marie’s mother continued to stare forward blankly, unconcerned.

“So…”, Marie said slowly. “Now what?”

“I…uhhh…didn’t think this far ahead”, Mark said sheepishly.

“Well…” Marie began in a seductive voice. “If we’re boyfriend and girlfriend now…we should get to know each other better.”

“I suppose”, Mark said.

“And you’re supposed to get me presents and jewelry and stuff right?”

“Uhh..yeah..I guess, though I’m a bit low for cash.”

“Well”, Marie said as she ran her fingers along Mark’s chest. “You can freeze people right? I’ll accept a frozen person as a gift instead of say…flowers and chocolate.”

“That…can be arranged”, Mark said in his own seductive voice. “I think I know just who to freeze.”

“Ohh…do I know them?”

“No I don’t think so. I’ll keep it a surprise. Come on, we’re getting you a doll.”
