Testing the Curse - Platonically

"Why do you keep looking at me?" you ask Maisie with a disapproving side glance "Stop acting like a freak!"

She has actually said those exact words to you before. They are still burned into your psyche. You can remember just how humiliated and crushed it made you feel at the time. About as humiliated and crushed as Maisie looks right now.

"I wasn't!" she lies unconvincingly as she folds her arms. You smile smugly to yourself when she can't resist stealing another glance at you roughly thirty seconds later despite her dressing down.

After a drive of around twenty minutes, you arrive back at your apartment. Maisie has been here plenty of times before, of course, but never like this. Never when you could command her to do literally anything you wanted her to. You could make her strip off, lap dance for you then give you a perfect blow job, But you know that is not you. And you also know you need to keep this platonic for the plan to work in the way you intend. You are playing the long game here, not just reaching for instant gratification.

"So, I guess I'm completely at your mercy now" Maisie tells you, a feint, expectant smile smile playing on her lips "God, what have I let myself in for? You could do anything to me!"

"Yeah, I guess I could" you smirk "Maisie, can you go and grab me a beer from the fridge"

She looks put out, but of course does as you command, walking over to your kitchen, collecting a cool can of Budweiser and handing it to you.

"Are you going to make me open it myself?" you ask, incredulous, as she brings it to you. She scowls a little, and looks how you normally feel when you are together and she is ordering you about, but does as you want without you even needing to command her.

"What would you like us to do now?" she asks "Remember, you can make me do absolutely anything"

"That's a good point" you nod "Personally, I feel like a mammoth session of Slay the Spire. This place is a tip. Maisie, can you clean it from top to bottom. That would be a real help, and I'd genuinely appreciate it"

You couch your command within the same kind of niceties she often gives to you when bossing you about. Is it bad that it feels so gratifying to treat her like this? It won't be forever, you have a plan here that involves the two of you eventually getting together, with her actually respecting you and not needing to be mind controlled. But there is still a long way to go before that can happen. So for now you will relax with your alcoholic beverage and continue in your attempts to reach ascension twenty, while Maisie gives your place the tidy up you have been meaning to get around to for months.
