The blue skin and purple tattooed asari face recognized by Shepard right away.

“Wait…” Shepard said. “I recognize her. She’s the spectre terrorist that was hunting Liara… I thought she was dead!”

"Shepard remember you've been dead twice." Tali said.

"Right." Jane sat back. "Shes alive and apparently has some dirt on me."

"Enough that Blue was willing to do what she wanted." Jack scuffed.

"Wake Liara up. I need to hear this from her."

Multiple faces was what the asari saw when she slowly woke. All around her was her friends and Shepard was front in center.

And she realized that only her, Ashley, and Miranda were still naked.

"Shepard...what have you done?!"

"I know you were being blackmailed by Tela Vasir. Tali cleared up the video. Why the hell didn't you just tell me?!"

"I couldn't! She made it clear that she would send out all she had if she even suspected that! She has everything on you. All of the former Shadow Brokers intel." She tried to explain. "He had a back up. I underestimated him. When he died he sent it all. She was ready to release it to every reporter in the galaxy! I had to protect you."

"By humiliating me?! By doing everything she wanted! By making me a ****?!"

"I...I had a plan. You were meant to lose and sign a fake contract. It was never meant to be real. Yes you would have felt betrayed and humilated but I factored in Tali helping you after. You would work around me and go work with Aria...It would have worked."

"You betrayed me! I trusted you and you conspired against me!"

"I didn't have a choice!"

Shepard shook her head. "No you did. We could have found a way. And even if it failed then I would have survived whatever she had."

"It could have ruined you."

"And being naked and have nothing wouldn't?! Being betrayed by the person I love..."

"Shepard..."

"EDI. Is there any indication that Tela knows that I'm aware of her now?" Jane turned from the asari.

"None that I can find. All my feeds have been checked multiple times. Tali has successfully disabled all of Liaras."

"She will know soon." Liara said in a weak voice. "I was meant to send a message when the contract was signed." She looked at Shepard with tears. "I'm sorry."

"Dont." Jane looked out the window. "We have a plan. Thats what happens when you work with people instead of betraying them."

Liara never felt so small. Shepard wasn't even looking at her.
