“I can’t,” Liara said shaking her head.

“Then you leave me ****,” Miranda said and nodded to Ashley.

Ashley nodded and Miranda took Liara’s omni tool while Ashley pushed down near the crook of Liara’s neck. Liara passed out and Miranda immediately brought up the video.

“You know what will happen if you don’t do as I say. I will make sure everyone knows everything there is to know about the great Commander Shepard. All her secrets. All it would take is one click.”

“I’d do anything to help Shepard,” Liara said. “What would you have me do?”

“You know what I want. I want her to feel the full weight of humiliation. I want her to know what it feels like to have everything taken away from her. And by the way… I better not hear any rumors of you trying to help her or tip her off. I’d be very upset if you spoiled the surprise.”

Shepard’s eyes widened. “Who is that?”

“Not sure,” Miranda said. “I was never able to clear up the audio and video and Liara never told us anything.”

“Tali, clear the audio and video,” Shepard said.

Tali nodded and took the omni tool from Miranda.

“So… you two knew about this?” Shepard said gesturing at Miranda and Ashley.

“Only what she told us,” Ashley said. “And the way she said it, it sounded bad. I thought I could trust Liara to do the right thing.”

Shepard nodded. “Well… Liara’s changed a lot since Therum.”

“The video and audio is cleared up,” Tali said.
