Tanya Saved?

Before the bum could ask her to do anything else, Tanya saw a fist fly out from no where and send him to the ground ****. Shocked, she turned to see Mark one of her classmates from school. Tears welled in her eyes as he took her hand and said, “Come with me!” It was the first time all day she was happy to do something that someone told her to do.

Two minutes of solid running later, the two stopped to catch their breath. “Are you all right Tanya? Tell me what happened” Mark asked.

Throwing herself into Mark’s chest, Tanya sobbed as she hugged him tightly, “I was running home from school.” She explained, “The pot heads were so rude they were laughing at me and telling me to do things, and I felt so embarrassed! And so I tried running home so that I wouldn’t have to deal with them and then I ran into that awful man and he **** me to do all these awful things and Oh my God Mark Thank You!”

Hugging her back Mark soothed, “I’m going to walk you home after school today and make sure that guy doesn’t bother you again. And as for the pot heads? You can't let what they say bother you.”

Tanya had never been so happy to have Mark there. He had always been a stand up guy around school, always doing the right thing. Every body liked and respected him, and in High School, that was saying a lot. And if she’d been truthful with herself, Tanya had always had a secret crush on him, even if she’d given him the cold shoulder. Well that was about to change. She’d just found her next boyfriend if she had anything to say about it.

Giving her a warm smile and whipping the tears from her face Mark said, “Now come on let’s get to school, we’re already late.”

“NO!” She screamed, “I can’t go to school looking like this! I look like a slut!”

Mark chuckled, “You’re not a slut Tanya, and there’s nothing wrong with what you’re wearing. To be perfectly honest, if I had any say in the matter I’d like you to dress in skirts like that for the rest of your life; with those knee high leather boots.”

Tanya was happy and mortified at the same time. Glad her future boyfriend, and in her mind he was just that, didn’t think she was a slut; but dismayed that she’d have to go shopping for a whole new wardrobe.

“Now come on,” he said, “let’s get back to school.”
