The voices seem to agree with Muma and as a result Yulia and Cherchiel indeed turn tail and run back towards the forest path. Unfortunately the shaking ground alerts them that the creature appears to be following them. They retreat further into the forest path and watch as the creature enters the forest path, but mercifully then changes direction heading towards the bone covered path and then disappearing down the bone covered path.

"Is... Is that it's lair?" Yulia asks.

"No! The beast down that path isn't Lumberer, perhaps they'll fight?" Muma says sounding hopeful.

"Which would win, do you think?" Cherchiel asks.

"Mmm... Definitely Lumberer," Muma decides after a few seconds.

"Well, we seem to be safe for the moment at least, we could head back and go after those two hunters," Cherchiel suggests and Muma looks a little nervous.

"I suppose I should say something... I still don't want to go to the cave, but... It was a lie to say there's nothing worthwhile there... I don't want you to go into the cave, but... I'd be a bad guide if I just recommended you completely ignore one half of this floor," Muma admits looking ashamed.

"Well, I do think we should explore the cave then, but for now, I see no reason to avoid exploring the forest more," Cherchiel suggests.

"Either way we should definitely move away from here, it's likely Lumberer will come back this way after he's finished whatever he's doing down that bone path," Muma adds.
