Into The Forest Again

Yulia, Cherchiel and Muma headed back to the area where they had met the hunters, the deer was still there and with a bit of effort, Yulia, with Cherchiel's help, managed to lift it and the two of them carried it forward as they headed to the next area, Muma helpfully informing them that they were indeed traveling to a new area.

The next area looked at first like just another forest path, less narrow than previous perhaps. There was no sign of the hunters, or anyone in fact, despite there being an abundance of footprints on the ground. Confused, Yulia cautiously continues forward, but stops. "there's a patch of disturbed ground here," she says stopping in front of what is indeed a portion of the forest floor that looks recently disturbed, something appears to have been very lightly buried here. Yulia examines the spot for a moment and then drops the deer carcass onto the spot. Immediately there's a snapping sound and a net rises up around the carcass and drags it up into the air, until it is eventually dangling from the trees fully captured.

With the trap set off, there's a flurry of movement, figures begin to emerge from the trees, appearing as if from nowhere, the hunters are among them, but there are more. The closest are another set of tall, naked elfin men, these ones wielding spears of wood and bone and pointing them towards Yulia and Cherchiel. Yulia raises her hands in surrender as the elves approach. There are at least eight elves total, all male, all naked and all pointing some kind of weapon at her. There are 5 pointing bows at her including the two hunters from earlier, the two pointing spears at her and one is holding some kind of gnarled wooden staff.

"I'm the chosen! I come in peace, I... er actually came to return the deer," Yulia says gesturing to the deer carcass hanging above them in the net. One of the hunters glances up at the deer and lowers his bow, drawing his knife and cutting something, Yulia can't see. At which point the net falls dropping the deer back onto the ground. The hunters approach and grab the deer carrying it away as the rest of the elves seem to relax a little, no longer aiming their weapons at her, but still holding them ready just in case.

"She survived Lumberer?" she hears one of the elves say and another speaks, "she's pretty short for a chosen..." followed by, "she might be short, but look at those tits..." Yulia catches these muttered words and self consciously lowers her arms to cover her breasts. The elf with the staff steps forward and the other elves go silent.

"Chosen, you have arrived at the village of Faidhalm, for the moment we will grant you passage, but be warned, if you betray our trust, your punishment will be swift," he states.

"I... understand. Thank you for your trust," Yulia responds. The elf with the staff then raises his staff and mutters something in a different tongue and the trees around the area begin to move and shift, slowly revealing a village hidden in the trees, the village is made primarily out of wooden huts, most of them are up in the trees, but there are three large huts on the forest floor. They are each marked, one is marked with a hammer and anvil, one with a needle and thread and the last... with a coin.

Aside from the huts there is also a new path revealed, past the village and heading deeper into the forest still. The path is illuminated with a strange green light.

The two hunters are visible carrying the deer carcass into one of the treetop huts, the staff elf is standing on the ground, watching Yulia. In fact most of the other elves are watching Yulia with a mixture of curiousity and concern. One however, one of the bow elves, is staring at her with undisguised lust.

"Welcome to the elf village, good luck," Muma mumbles to Yulia.
