Chapter 6 by iReed iReed

What does Roman do next?

Take Blake for Walkies

"Hey, Catgirl. Do you wanna go walkies?"

"Anything for you, Sir," Blake cheerfully responded as she got up to leave with him.

"The rest of you, stay put, alright. I'll be back later."

"Yes Mr. Torchwick!" Weiss replied.

"Sure, whatever," Ruby called.

"When can I see Neo?" Yang screamed, before Roman closed the door.

Oh, he almost forgot. He took out the book and wrote:

NO BODY WILL NOTICE ME, UNLESS I WANT THEM TO. IF THEY DO NOTICE ME, THEY'LL MAKE NO EFFORT TO ATTACK ME OR CALL FOR HELP.

He wasn't having a repeat of last time.

Arriving at what Roman saw as a large cafeteria, he was thankful that the book was keeping true. None of the students were showing him any attention.

"Oh. Hi Blake," A girl with rabbit ears waved Blake over from where she sat alone.

"Hey, Velvet. How are things going?"

"Oh, nothing much. Cardin was being a bit of an arsehole again. Nothing new. You seem happy today."

"Oh, I am," She sighed, looking over to Roman, who was simply standing there observing. He was about to tell her to leave, until she said.

"You know, you shouldn't call Cardin those sorts of things. He's a human after all. You should treat him with respect and apologize."

"Sorry, what?"

Realizing the opportunity, Roman hurriedly jotted down:

BLAKE AND VELVET WILL ARGUE ABOUT FAUNUS. HOWEVER, THE LONGER THAT THEY ARGUE, THE MORE VELVET WILL FIND HERSELF AGREEING WITH ALL OF BLAKE'S POINTS UNTIL SHE REALISES THAT SHE'S A DUMB BUNNY GIRL WHO SHOULD BE INFERIOR TO HUMANITY.

"You're a faunus. You should show respect to humans. They are better than us, after all."

"I can't believe what I'm hearing. I didn't expect it from you, Blake. I thought that, if anyone would stand up to prejudice, it would be you."

"It's not prejudice. It's honesty. You have bunny ears. Bunnies are animals. You are more of an animal than Cardin is."

"That's," Velvet began to protest, but halted as she thought. It was technically true that, since she and Blake have animal body parts, they were closer to animals than humans were. However, that meant nothing when it came to how Faunus were treated.

"We may be closer to animals than humans, but that doesn't mean we should be treated any differently."

"We aren't closer to animals. We are animals. Of course, faunus need humans to guide them. Animals that aren't only turn feral."

"I- huh? I guess I see where you're coming from." Velvet said. Did she?

"Does it make you happy defying Cardin? You don't seem to be, because you're going against nature. Animals are obedient to Humans. Maybe if you just relented and allowed Cardin to do what he wanted, you'd be much happier. I've accepted my role as lowly, dumb catgirl and I've never been more at peace."

Velvet thought it over. It didn't make her happy to have Cardin taunt her or pull her ears but maybe trying to stop him was only making it worse. She was an animal and animals were naturally obedient to humans. Maybe she should just stop being pigheaded and let Cardin do what he wanted.

Still, there was still some apprehension.

"I'm not sure, Blake. This doesn't seem right."

"Don't worry your dumb bunny brain, Velvet. I'll show you how much better it is to be a good faunus girl."

Taking her by the wrist, the two girls rushed off. Roman followed after them, curious as to what the cat girl had planned.

Once Blake found who she was looking for, Roman sat back down to enjoy the show.

"Good day, Cardin," Blake began as she walked over to him with Velvet in toe, "Velvet has something she wants to tell you."

Cardin was sitting on a table with his team, and he appeared annoyed to see them. Roman imagined he was a bully that had prejudice about the faunus.

"What do you two want now. Is it about the ear pulling? Can you guys get off my case about that?"

"Um. Sorry Cardin," Velvet meekly uttered.

"What?"

"Velvet here has seen the error of her ways. She wants to be a good girl from now on," Blake interjected.

Cardin was confused, turning to them and speaking more mutedly.

"What the fuck are you two talking about?"

"You... uh- If you want to pull my ears, you can," Velvet hung her head, embarrassed.

"Mine too," Blake said, removing her bow to show off her feline additions, "If it makes you happy, we're happy to let you pet us; order us around; whatever you wish."

Cardin was perplexed. One, Blake was a faunus. Two, they seemingly have done a complete 180. This had to be a trick.

"You can't be serious. I thought you hated it."

Velvet was still confused about the whole situation, but Blake's encouragement got her through it.

"Even if I don't like it, you can still do it. Blake helped me understand that faunus are just animals and we should listen to humans because they are better than us."

"This isn't a joke. Is it?" Cardin gulped.

"Nope," Blake smiled, "Feel free."

"C-Can we go somewhere private," Cardin was losing his bravado in all this confusion. He preferred to be out of the sight of others when he was like this.

"Whatever you want. Lead the way," Blake said, before giggling, "The Human leads and we Faunus follow. How appropriate."

As they left, Roman began to follow them. They were going to a room, presumably Cardin's dorm room.

"O-okay. If you two are just tricking me, you'll be sorry," Cardin said, locking the door, unaware of Roman's presence.

"Don't worry, Cardin. This isn't a trick, honest," Blake said.

"Then. You won't mind if I..."

Cardin moved his hands to each girls' ears. At first pulling them as normal but then started rubbing them and, eventually, petting them on their heads.

Velvet felt strange. The touching felt... nicer. It felt right to let him do this. Just as Blake said, denying nature was only making her feel worse. A good faunus lets a human do whatever they want to them.

"You're a stupid bunny, aren't you?" Cardin asked, "Say it."

"Yes Cardin, I am a stupid bunny."

"Why?"

"Because I wouldn't let you pull my ears."

"Kiss my feet, you lowly creatures."

"Yes, Sir." The two girls replied as they got down to their hands and knees.

This was so degrading to Velvet. She never could have imagined she'd let herself be pushed down to this level. However, after Blake's talk, this just made so much sense. This is where she, Blake and every faunus belonged. She was so happy to realize that.

"Oh god. You were so right, Blake. Obeying humans is the best. I am such a dumb fucking animal for thinking that we should be on the same level. The only place for the faunus is at humans' feet."

"Good. Now how's about you scum take my pants off and I'll really give you something to kiss."

"Yes, Sir," they cheered.

"Oh God," Roman blanched.

What does Roman do about this?
