“Mari, Ceri! Run!”
I saw my brother in front of us desperately clutching his sword. Taking a deep breath, he readied himself for a strike.
He managed to dodge the first attack and retaliated but his sword didn’t even nick the thick hide of the beast.
Then the white monstrosity effortlessly swatted him aside.
With a grunt of pain Zachs crushed into a tree. His leg made a hideous sound upon impact.
N-No!
Ignoring my brother, the Monster moved closer, his breath visible in the cold winter air.
I couldn’t move. I couldn’t do anything.
Ceri looked back to me.
“M-Mari…”, she pleaded. “I...”
And then the monster brought his club down on her.
Time froze.
“AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
