Chapter 5 by foxloversi foxloversi

How will Maria cope with all this?

Surreal Desires and Conflicting Emotions

As Nikolai left, Maria remained standing against the wall, her mind racing with confusion and disbelief. Had he really bitten her and drank her blood, or was it just a hallucination? She knew she wasn't drunk, but perhaps she had been **** with some new substance? It was all so surreal, like something out of a vampire movie.

But the pleasure she experienced was undeniable. Despite her bewilderment, she couldn't deny the intensity of the orgasms Nikolai gave her. She had never felt such pleasure, even during sex. And yet, there was a feeling of dissatisfaction, a desire for more. Whatever Nikolai had done to her, it was both intoxicating and unnerving.

As the first rays of sunlight pierced through the window, Maria realized that she had spent the entire night with Nikolai. Exhausted, she stumbled back to her own bed, collapsing into a deep sleep.

Maria found herself on a dance floor, wrapped in Steve's arms. They moved together to a slow, sensuous song, lost in each other's embrace. She pressed her lips to his and felt his tongue intertwine with hers. The music picked up, and so did their passion. Her hands roamed over his body, and she found herself getting more aroused by the second. But then, something new began to stir within her. She felt a craving deep inside, a desire to consume him in some way. Not to eat him, but to...drink him. As her kisses trailed down his neck, she caught a whiff of his scent, his very essence. It was tantalizing, irresistible. She longed to taste it, to savor it. She nibbled at his skin, **** to get a taste, and when Steve tried to pull away, she felt her instincts take over. She grabbed him, sank her teeth into his neck, and drank deeply. Steve screamed, but she didn't care. The rush of his blood was overwhelming, and as she climaxed, she felt a surge of power coursing through her veins.

As she jolted awake, her breathing was labored and her heart was racing. She glanced around the room, disoriented and confused. Her hand was soaked and sticky, and she realized with a start that she had been pleasuring herself in her sleep. "I'm fucking insane, what's wrong with me?" she spoke out to the empty bedroom. She looked at her phone: 5 missed calls from Steve, 2 from Rachel and many messages from both. It was past 11. 'Fuck, I'm really a mess, I need a shower,' she said to herself. She approached the mirror in fear, not knowing what she'd see there. Besides looking very tired she noticed two little marks on her neck. 'No way, I don't believe this, that psycho really bit me. I wasn't hallucinating...' She started to panic but due to exhaustion she had no power in her to really do anything. She collapsed on the couch and started sobbing.

This was out of character for her as she had always believed that crying didn't solve anything and problems needed to be dealt with. However, this time, she felt completely ****. What had she done to Steve? She loved him, but last night he was the last thing on her mind. How could she solve this problem? What could she tell him? That she had cheated on him with a vampire wannabe weirdo? How could she explain that she had sought that guy out at the club and was even ready to fuck with him without any remorse if he hadn't left? And finally, despite everything that had happened, she still desired Nikolai deep down. If he suddenly appeared in front of her, she didn't think she would be able to resist him.

"I can't just lay here like a limp noodle on the couch anymore, I have to get it out of my system," Maria thought to herself before dialing Steve's number. He picked up after a few rings. "Hi honey, how are you? Why didn't you respond yesterday?" His voice sounded concerned and irritated.

"I'm sorry Steve, I had a busy day yesterday and then I went out last night and had some drinks. I overslept this morning," Maria replied, trying to sound convincing.

"Maria, you're acting weird two days in a row now. Is everything okay?" Steve asked, his concern growing.

"I just need to clear my head and get into action. I think I'll go to the gym. We'll talk when you get back. When are you coming back?" Maria said, hoping to deflect his suspicions.

"I'm coming back tomorrow afternoon. What is it you want to talk about?" Steve pressed.

"It's nothing serious. I don't want to trouble you with my bullshit while you're working your ass off. We'll talk tomorrow, okay?" Maria said, trying to reassure him.

"I don't like this, to be honest. But okay, I'm in the middle of work anyway so I can't really talk right now. I just hope you didn't do anything stupid, Maria," Steve said, his tone serious.

"No, it's fine, no big deal. See you tomorrow, bye," Maria said casually before hanging up. She knew Steve suspected something was wrong, but she couldn't explain everything over the phone while he was working. She would deal with it tomorrow.

She was faced with a dilemma. On one hand, she felt the need to confide in someone and Rachel was her closest friend. But on the other hand, she remembered Nikolai's warning not to discuss what had happened with anyone, as it would only make things more complicated. For the first time, she was genuinely concerned about her mental state and knew she couldn't keep everything bottled up inside.

Does she confide in Rachel?
