The video opens up on a late-night panel with Amanda, the host of Island Amour, sitting in the main chair and a couple of former contestants (including Jamie who you recognize) of Island Amour sitting on sofas next to her. A title card appears showing: “Island Amour: After Dark”

“Holy cow! Who would have expected Matt to come in there and save the day for Mona? What an unbelievable series of events for Matt and Mona,” Amanda says.

The sofa buddies to the left of Amanda shake their heads and smile and nod, each showing varying degrees of disbelief, glee, and bewilderment.

“That was kind of fishy there you gotta admit Amanda. I mean people are accusing this show of being scripted but for Matt to have that receipt? I mean come on now!” An attractive and ripped black man sitting next to Jamie says.

Amanda puts a shushing finger on her lips and teases, “Darrell please, you are going to get me fired if you say the S-word. It’s almost as bad as the P-word.”

“Oh right,” Darrell laughs it off.

“Though I have to say, as someone who friggen loves Mona I was yelling at the top of my lungs,” A curvaceous dark-haired woman, named Maria, sitting next to Darrell says. “You just know it’s going to fuel the Plant Society that has been rooting for Mona and Matt to get together.”

“For those of you at home who don’t know, Plant Society is the name of the popular coupling of Mona and Matt. The plant society must be stoked after this episode. We thought this ship was sunk a couple of days ago, but holy moly did Matt just throw gasoline onto that,” Amanda explains to the camera.

“Amanda, I thought you weren't supposed to say the P-word,” Darrell laughs. “You guys both just (bleep)ing said it.”

“What? Plant Society? Please... Darrell, they are obviously called that cause they obviously both love trees and stuff, right?” Amanda says winking at the camera which causes a bit of laughing in the audience. Plants were something that hung over the series fandom that they still talked about, regularly speculating who is plant and who isn’t.

“Jamie, you’ve been hugely supportive of Paige and Matt since you’ve left the show. What do you say now that it looks like their relationship is over?” Amanda brings up.

“You know what… I say the Fireworks Crew still has something there. Paige looks like she is obviously not over Matt and Matt still looks like he has something for Paige. I’m still a firm believer in them, mate,” Jamie says, and the audience applauses.

“No way. They are done,” Darrell says. “You see how Jenna and Matt looked after they went off that boat? That ain’t the look of two people that just got finished holding hands, you know what I’m saying?”

“Darrell, I’m going to call bias on this. You’ve been on Team Balcony Buddies since Day 1, and you are straight-up delusional at this point,” Maria rebukes.

“Tell me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Paige straight up burst into tears when she was talking to Jenna? No way things didn’t go down in that boat,” Darrell shakes his head.

“Maybe something did, maybe something didn’t, mate. This is Island Amour, and it’s obvious Paige and Matt will get together again. In his confession videos, Matt has been clear over his love of Paige and Paige can't stop talking about Matt in hers. No way they are done, not by a longshot,” Jamie says.

“Always contentious with you three. You guys are like the fandom in general right now. There’s a huge debate over who Matt will end up choosing. Three factions are now emerging, and things just haven’t been civil ever since. I mean I've gotten **** threats from Mona and Paige supporters for just posting a picture on twitter of Jenna and Matt hugging. Things are getting serious,” Amanda says. “That’s a perfect segue to our next message. Remember today is voting day, and you at home get to choose who to send on a date next. So if you are on Team Balcony Buddies, like Darrell is, or on Team Fireworks Crew, like Jamie, or a weirdo, like Maria, who thinks Mona and Matt go together, remember to stuff that ballot box and decide who gets to go on a date next.”

“Hey!” Maria quips, and the rest of the sofa buddies laugh.

So another vote had been held. That means today will likely be another date day. Any minute now, some girl screaming “I HAVE A TEXT!” will interrupt your thoughts. In your heart, you wanted the time alone with Paige. Jenna was right. You had to even the score with Paige and make her feel like she is the most important person to you, even if you couldn’t really put her and Jenna on a scale.

Fandom and popularity votes were going to become huge. The first couple of recouplings would be based on contestant choice, but as the weeks widdled down, popularity would become a huge factor in deciding dates and who gets to stay and who has to leave. Thinking of what transpired the past few days, there was really only two possible people that were going to go on a date.

The first was you. You weren’t being arrogant, but the AMA was helping you, and so were the producers, at least in popularity for the latter and not so much in relationship troubles.

The second was obvious too when you thought about what the recent drama and who the cameras would be focused on. People love drama and people love villains. You sigh as you hear “I HAVE A TEXT!” from a familiar voice.

No. You couldn’t think of this as a chore. You had to become even closer friends with Mona. Somehow you knew that it was a key in saving Paige and Jenna and giving you more time with them. In your heart, something worried you. You really couldn’t handle another girl’s heart in this already sticky situation.
