The Fantastic Four was back in action. Sue Storm was healthy, fully recovered from her injury, and nearly bursting with energy. Reed Richards was surprised how often she dragged him away from his lab at night, and didn't let him return to his work until she was satisfied. Her hair and skin were brighter, her workouts harder, and Sue drank every bottle of Porkum's Special Raw Organic Nut Milk that he sent her.

To her friends and family, it even seemed as if the Invisible Woman had relaxed a little.

"Mommy, can I have a cookie?" Valeria said, having spent ten minutes preparing a PowerPoint about her caloric needs as a growing child.

"Sure, sweetie," Sue said, even though she normally disapproved of sweets between meals.

Neither did Sue Storm pitch a fit when she found the cum-stained crotchless panties mixed in with Johnny's wash. She just washed the underwear and found herself staring at it the bit of gold fabric. A sudden rapt attention to an email advertising new lingerie. Packages began to arrive at the Baxter Building as Sue found it more difficult to resist a sale.

Found it harder to resist many impulses.

The problem wasn't manifest to her family and teammates until a moment of crisis.

The Miracle Man was one of the Fantastic Four's oldest enemies. A master of hypnotism and illusion, his ambitious plans had since degenerated into more venal schemes. The heroes were alerted to his menace once again when S.H.I.E.L.D. noticed odd disappearances in Stepford, N.J.—a town that technically shouldn't exist. They flew there in the Fantasticar, and within minutes were being swarmed by hypnotized victims.

"Don't hurt them!" Reed Richards said.

It was Sue who first spotted the Miracle Man. He stood unperturbed, dressed like a stage magician in suit and cape, long forked beard oiled and styled.

"Surrender!" the Invisible Woman demanded, an invisible hand at his throat.

The villain sneered. "Show me your tits, and I'll consider it!"

Then, to the shock of everyone, Sue Storm's shirt vanished. She stood there, naked from the waist up, and her eyes narrowed.

"There. Now surrender!"

"It's a miracle," the words tumbled out of the villain's mouth. His eyes were wide, drinking in the sight of the topless heroine. Utterly bewildered at the effectiveness of his jibe. Before Miracle Man could say anything else, Ben Grimm thumped him gently on the head. The villain crumpled. The Thing stared at Sue for a moment, at her full breasts and dark nipples, and then swiftly turned away.

"Uh, Suzie, you can, um, putcher shirt back on now," he mumbled.

"Sure, Ben," Sue said, and without another thought her top became visible again. The blonde heroine showed not the least amount of embarrassment, or even awareness that she had done something inappropriate.

Yet Ben, Reed, and Johnny had seen, and exchanged worried glances with each other.

In Porkum's lair, the pig-man grunted as he reviewed the footage.

"It's workin'," he said. "I was hopin' the Miracle Man would do more, though. He didn't even try to use his hypnotism powers, did he?"

Doctor Doom's hologram floated before the wall.

"No. Which is interesting in and of itself. She obeyed automatically. If she were faced with more such villains, she should be much more susceptible to such powers."

Porkum nodded. "I know just the one."
