The group left early the next morning and retraced their steps to find the exit. Although her remaining men were worn down, the knowledge that they were going home had reinvigorated them. It was two days later when they finally emerged from the tunnels. The fishy air by the docks was a welcome change to the dank smell of sewage and blood that many of them had grown accustomed to. Paxia stretched and gave a sigh of relief.

"No offense to anyone, but I think i need a bath. Think I will go home and see if my husband will cook me some actual food."

"I'm going to go check on Grace and Reese," Ashlin said before giving Groban a smirk. "Unless I get a better offer."

"Well there goes my evening," Ashlin laughed.

"I think I will head to the fort and get some rest," Helena said. Chima and a few others protested that she should join them, but she was really just ready to get some good sleep.
