Emma Watson was proud of what she had done to better equal rights in the world, proud of the number of lives she had changed through her bold words, and stand against the men who wish to keep women down and the women who think that men should be subservient to them. She believes in equal rights for all genders and therefore was shocked whenever someone didn't understand this. Yet she continues with her core beliefs, a fact that got her into quite a bit of trouble over the years but she was more than capable of defending herself. At least that's what she tells herself but in truth we hardly ever see Emma Watson out in public, her schedule was always a secret and for the most part the only thing she ever really did was try to spread her belief that everyone should read more. Thus she decided to leave random books all over New York City so people would pick them up and read them which is what brought her to your presence.

You are a clerk who does nothing but data entry from the early morning to late at night and over the years you have developed an addiction to coffee and energy pills to keel you awake. The amount of sleep you managed to gain every night is minor at best, maybe six hours if you're lucky and hardly enough to keep you functioning. Yet you did it anyway because it was the only job you could find and in all honesty you were just too far broken from the strong man you were years ago when you started the job. Eventually you knew that a crash was inevitable yet you continued to keep going day in and day out which is how you met Emma Watson.

It started off with one of your late night subway rides home where you were intent on sleeping for the hour train ride home. So imagine your surprise when sitting right next to you was Hermione Granger herself dressed rather casually in dark blue pants, ankle length black boots, a white t-shirt and black jacket. Her dirty blonde hair shoulder length and her face lacking in make up to the point where you barely recognized her despite the many years you had spent looking at her pictures.

Though despite the fact that Emma Watson was right next to you all that you wanted to do was sleep as you were just about ready to crack.

Yet Emma was intent on talking to you about a book she was carrying around and having a conversation, her polite English accent calming you somewhat as you decided to humor her. After all you highly doubt someone like Emma Watson would be in your neck of the woods, even with a bodyguard. So you talked a little and listened to her speak about the book, you would tell her about your job and how much work you do and she was impressed.

This was quite a shock as you had never been told that what you did was important let alone impressive to someone like Emma Watson or anyone really. You just couldn't believe it so you were actually energized for a few minutes and soon you became emboldened and wondered if you should kiss Emma right here and now or be a coward and back down. Then again you noticed that you were in an empty subway train and most importantly you were near your home which caused dark thoughts to appear in your mind. You begin to wonder if you could anything but back away as the train neared your stop.
