What do you do?

Statue of Persephone

Holding a torch in her left hand and a pomegranate in her left, the statue's eyes look straight towards you, brimming with compassion. Half-framing her eyes is her hair: pulled into a braided crown, parting at the center of the forehead and looping around behind her ears to an unknown point behind her head. Below that, her slim shoulders are capped by her toga, which slowly flows down her form, reaching her ankles, where gold-painted flowers spring from the podium she stands on. Your eyes have trouble lingering on any one point with this statue: each item simply draws your eyes to the next. The flowers draw your eyes to the nearby pomegranate being lowered from her left hand, almost as if offering you to take a bite. This, of course, naturally draws your eyes up her arm and back towards her piercing eyes, which starts the cycle all over again. You scarcely notice a plaque at the base of the statue which says "Persephone, Lady of Spring, queen of Hades"
