Start of school

I stepped inside the main building at the campus - it was a big hall with a cool big dome on the ceiling that allowed the sunlight to shine the entire floor and inside of the hall. At the right of the entrance was the principal greeting everyone, i got close to him and he just extended his arm to give me a handshake, as we shook hands he said "Good morning, welcome to Untitled College" and he moved on with the next student behind me.

I didn't really know where to go, i stood in the center of the hall looking around to see where i should go. I noticed that at my right the were some hallways with doors that had signs, it looked like they were the employees offices or something but i knew i shouldn't go there.

The hall had two big arches that led to different places, at my left the first arch looked like it takes you to a big hallway with some classrooms or something similar to a highschool interior - i knew that was probably the place i had to go but i decided to go through the other arch in front of me.

I went through the archway and walked down some small stairs that were made out of concrete, i looked back and noticed that the hall was modern looking and i remembered that from outside the campus looked really stylish, you know, it had a big building with huge glass pannels and the structure of it was pretty weird, it was made out of big rectangles with 3 different colors, i guessed that it was normal because recently that modern style of building seemed to be quite popular in this city.

Anyways, i stepped outside of the hall, going down this small set of stairs i admired the huge green and thriving with life field that was at the center of all of the buildings. I saw that it was sorrounded by a total of 5 buildings, or that's what i managed to see - i couldn't really see if there was more to this place at the left side because one of the buildings was blocking my view.

At my right there was a small extension of the hall, it had a few offices for a secretary or something but it didn't look that important. At my left there was a huge building with windows that allowed me to see inside - i remembered that those were the classrooms and that building was the one where i had to go. Right next to that building there was another one, a medium and long building with a big ramp that took you to the second floor of it - it looked like that building had some special classrooms or other rooms like a laboratory, computer room and stuff like that.

But most importantly the main attraction - the giant field filled with trees, benches and people hanging out. It had an elevation so as i kept walking down the field on one of the concrete paths i noticed that at the end it reached a point where it was like 12 feet lower than the hall - it wasn't so steep so i didn't noticed until i reached a fourth of the field, Wow, this is really huge, i don't think i will be able to reach the end i thought as i looked at my right side - there was a medium building in the middle of the field, it looked like just one floor and it had a shape that suggested it was a cafeteria or sort of social place where people talk and hang out. I wanted to go inside but the bell rang, it sounded really loud - like there were multiple bells around the campus but at the point there were even in the trees and everywhere because it was really loud.

I saw that the few people around me in the field grabbed their stuff and headed in a direction, i quickly followed them to see where the classroom was At the end, we were all in the same classroom right? I asked myself.

Now i found myself at the huge building with all of the classrooms, i had to go through a few hallways to get to the main classroom - i was sure that was the one because there were a lot of teens going in it and also because it was the biggest room and it was at the center of all of the hallways.

I stepped inside the classroom and i looked around at all of the students that were already chatting and laughing - they were already in groups of friends which was odd but i ignored it and i quickly tried to find someone...

Matthew, he was the only one that i knew here so i wanted to be around him to be more comfortable - i looked even more trying to find him, some other students passed right by me but i didn't even bother looking at them Come on where are you? I don't know what to do i thought. I was getting frustrated but i finally saw him in one of the corners at the back of the classroom, he was taking his books out of his backpack while he talked with some of his friends.

I made my way to him, i akwardly crossed the entire room but since everyone was talking and getting ready no one noticed me. I got near him and just said "Hey Matthew how you doing?" I noticed that his friends looked at me weird but when Matthew turned around and recognized me they chilled. He looked at me with an impressed expression and said

"YOOO DRE... you are here, hey how's it going?" He greeted me with a special handshake we had, after we did our special greeting we hugged for a brief moment and he continued saying "Man is good to see you, there's a seat for you here" he pointed at an empty seat next to him and then he turned to his friends and said

"This is André, an old friend from school... we were best friends, trust me he is cool" they looked at me and nodded, one of them tried to greet me but a woman entered the room - it was the teacher, she placed her bag and books at her desk and ordered us to take a seat. I placed my backpack on the back of my chair and took a seat like the rest of the class to hear what the teacher had to say.
