Does Jake comply?
Stand your ground
Jake's mind is flooded with intrusive thoughts, his world shattered and his circumstances most peculiar. If he wasn't in hell already, why not speed up the process?
"Do it, pussy!" Jake shouts, "I'm not leaving!"
"Are you seriously-" the store clerk is taken aback, "Whatever dude, I'm calling the cops now."
"Yeah, go get your lackeys, loser." Jake retorts
The clerk calls the police, and silence is broken three minutes later by the sound of several footsteps and jingling police gear.
"Yeah, he's in there." The clerk directs. "Okay, thanks. Ready men?" The officer asks his two colleagues. In a brief moment of clarity, Jake decides to pull his pants back up. All at once, the bathroom stall door is rammed open.
Jake finds himself in the back seat of a cop car with only a vague recollection of how he got there. He's detained now, with only one place to go.
