"Well is there anything else we can use to barricade the door?" Lri asks looking around.

Yulia uncloaks since it doesn't seem to be useful anyway and her mana replenishes.

"I don't think the Directive can see through the veil so, Lri should still be hidden," Yulia says.

Lri gives up, despite the place being pretty filled with heavy objects, they all seem to be needed for Maple's work.

"I guess the good news is with just a single entrance we can at the least probably avoid having to fight too many enemies at once," Lri suggests after a bit.

Outside the sound of movement catches the attention of the group and except Maple who continues working the group glance outside carefully.

Outside a small squad of machines have arrived. There are about ten of them and they are much different from the Jaspers. They are humanoid, but completely featureless, blank chrome puppets. They are bipedal unlike the treaded Jaspers and they move with graceful quick steps that imply a level of inhuman agility. They approach and stop a short distance away. The announcement systems suddenly click on with a grating noise.

Maple is working as hard as she can, constant muttering coming from her alongside the noise of industrial machinery.

This could be bad, losing here might be the end of Yulia's adventure, still the choice was made to fight, so the only choice is to fight as hard as they can.
