Chapter 4 by Zeebop Zeebop

Who does Sue Storm name?

Spider-Man

Sue Storm sighed, long and low. He had the mask on. Yet nothing else. Those great white "eyes" hid his face, but Sue could see the muscles that bulged on his perfectly sculpted body. The Invisible Woman had watched him over the years grow up, into his power, his responsibility as a hero. She bit her lips as she looked over his shoulder to where those perfect buttocks emerged from the surf, like two little islands.

"Have you known Spider-Man for a long time?" Dr. Stone said.

"Years. You know we were almost the Fantastic Five? He was only a young man then. Barely legal. We kept in touch over the years. He was there at our wedding. One of Johnny's best friends. Watched over our children..." Sue said.

Moonstone could almost sense Sue holding back. A golden corona limned the villain's head as she began to manipulate the Invisible Woman's brain.

"A young man. An older woman. Have you ever been interested in younger men, Susan?"

"I—" Sue began, a denial on her lips. It died unspoken. "I would never act on it. I love my husband."

"I'm sure you do," Dr. Stone said. "But you're still a woman, after all. You have needs. Desires. You don't think your husband stopped looking at other women just because he married you, do you?"

In her mind's eye, Sue saw Spider-Man crawl up out of the surface. He had grown into such a fine man.

"I suppose," Sue said.

"And Spider-Man," Dr. Stone said. "How does he see you?"

"Oh, he's always had his girls. He was even married. I'm not sure what happened with that," Sue said honestly. "I'm sure he—I'm sure I'm too old for him."

"Hmm, you say that. But he's hovered around you for years. The attractive older woman. The mother-figure. To him, you might be quite the MILF."

Sue's forehead creased.

"MILF?"

"Acronym. Mom I'd Like to Fuck," Dr. Stone said, matter of factly. "Don't play coy, Susan. You must know how some women your age learn to appreciate that kind of attention, especially as the attention from their husbands wanes."

Spider-Man's head was almost in Sue's lap now. The Invisible Woman couldn't seem to stop her from coming closer and closer. A part of her wondered what would happen if she rolled up the bottom of his mask...just enough...

"What would you do if he propositioned you Susan? One day, when it was just the two of you, all alone? A friendly, flirtacious pass?"

"I'm m-married," Sue said. "My husband—my kids—I couldn't—"

"But what would happen," Dr. Stone said. "If you were the one that propositioned him? Do you think you would accept? How would that feel, to have a young man enthusiastically welcome you? To see you as sexy and desirable? Would it feel good?"

"I—I don't—yes. I guess. It would feel good," Sue admitted.

The corona of light around Moonstone's head dimmed. She could feel blood trickle from her nostril. She had pushed things too far, just to plant that seed of doubt. It was time to see what would happen.

"When you open your eyes, Susan," Dr. Stone said. "You will feel more relaxed. As if a load had been taken off your shoulders. Everything you saw, everything we talked about, will vanish. But you will be able to return here whenever you wish. Do you understand?"

"Yes," Sue said.

"Open your eyes."

The blue eyes fluttered. She saw Dr. Stone hold a tissue splotched with blood to a nostril.

"I really need to get a humidifier in here," the psychologist joked. "Do you feel better, Susan?"

"I...do, actually," Sue Storm said, realizing she felt strangely light-hearted.

"Part of managing your stress involves engaging with long-buried ideas and desires, the kind that you would normally never act upon," Dr. Stone said. "But here, in therapy, you can act upon them, in a controlled environment and a positive way. Next week, if you'd like, we'll pick up where we left off, and go a little further."

"Yes," Sue said. "Thank you, doctor."

What does Moonstone make Susan Storm do next week?
