Space Gun

We entered a golden dome with a giant cannon on the side of it that was called a Space Gun, inside the Futurology District.

The ship was inside the giant cannon connected to the building. It was literally the Great Fox from Starfox. It was huge and coloured white with the words "STARFOX" in green letters and a picture of a red fox above it, on the thin.

"Well?" I could hear Tank say from behind, "Whaddaya think?"

"It's awesome!" I said.

Glaze stepped up to a yellow pipe, designed after the kinds used to communicate on sea ships.

"Hello up there?" I said, "Glaze to launch crew! Anytime you're ready!"

As her voice echoed in the control centre, one of the launch crew members, Impey, reincarnation of Jules Verne, eagerly gave a salute. Impey had brown hair and chipmunk ears and a tail.

"You got it, Canon," he said.

Impey ran to the other side of the control centre, and pulled one of the levers. The chipmunk boy spun around, trying to make sure all was in order in the dome.

Inside the dome, pipes began to blow out steaming and gears began to move faster than before. The doors to the Great Fox opened up and Me, Tank and Glaze went inside and took our seats. The ship was moved into position, facing the end of the Space Gun, as its hatch opened up. The ship's engine started up, and the entire ship began to shake, mildly at first, but slowly getting stronger and more violent. The rocket engines began to spew fire as the ship was just about ready to blast off. The ship shook violently with the **** of the engine. Glaze grinned, and pointed one finger enthusiastically toward the runway.

"Blast off!!" she screamed excitedly.

"Oh, yeah!" Impey screamed excitedly, slamming his hand on the launch button.

The ship blasted into up the tunnel and out the cannon. It quickly flew into the sky and into outer space.

It wasn't long before the ship went into wrap speed and vanished out of sight.
