Someone from the past

The first day nobody showed up. Same for the second and third day. If Lucy had been the same as before 'Pet Day' she probably would have passed out after a few hours. But all her experiences in the forest had changed her, and now she was different person than before. Now Lucy knew how important patience is and waiting for the right moment to strike. And now Lucy thought about herself like a predator, not prey. Even if she lost this fight, even if she could not change anything... It didn't matter to her. She would fight and would not let anyone take away her personality and freedom.

In the morning of the fourth day she noticed someone on the small road. Lucy first heard them before seeing them because it was a pair of people and they were chatting. Why not, Lucy thought; they were on the trip alone so they did not need to worry about someone hearing them. From a distance Lucy noted that they are a boy and girl. They were wearing tourists jackets and shorts to the knees, and carrying big backpacks, which meant they were on a trip for longer than a day. Perfect, The huntress thought, their disappearance would not be not noticed too quickly.

When they come close Lucy didn't move at all in order to remain hidden, but it was hard. When she saw who they were she lost her breath for a moment.

Calm down, Lucy, you need to focus. Don't waste your chance for success. She took a deep breath, getting back in control of herself.

On the way to the hot spring she saw her ex-boyfriend and her bully from high school, Becca. Lucy remembered their rivalry in school and she had no doubt what Becca would do of she got a chance to dominate Lucy. And the huntress knew that Becca was one of the most active forum members on her website. Even if she didn't take part in 'Pet Day' this bully would do so much to get Lucy to become a pet.

Lucy had broken up with Max after he had betrayed her in the bedroom and university, so it shouldn't have hurt her to see him holding the hand of another girl. But to see him with Becca...!

He will regret this. Oh, he will regret this so hard, Lucy thought to herself, holding her spear and club. They passed by not far from her without noticing her. They were so close that Lucy could even hear their chat.

"... And I told you, the whole city started looking for her. But our pet found some hole in the web and escaped," Max was talking like a fisherman, after catching a huge fish.

"I regret that I can't see this personally. Lucy naked on the leash, that is worth any money," Becca said with an evil grin on her face, not knowing that Lucy could hear her every word, "So she died in an accident?"

"That's what it looks like. Vehicle fell into the river after crashing, and there were no tracks. Our pet girl probably drowned in the water."

At least her trick with the accident had worked. Lucy wasn't sure from the website, it wasn't too clear on that matter.

"Ah, it was only a pet, such things always happen to them. Better for us not to dwell on it and enjoy this magic place," Becca said and put backpack near hot spring. Max chuckled and started undressing himself.

"You are right, their lives are too short for any sort of relationship," He said, and every word was like a blade stabbing Lucy in the heart, “Are we wearing swimsuits?"

"What for? It is nicer to feel the water on your whole body, and no one else is in the area," Becca said while taking off her bra and jumping in the water. Max quickly joined her, also in the nude.

Lucy could not hear the next thing they said but she could see that they had not come here only for bathing. Lucy, her face hidden under the wolf skull, tried to stop the tears from coming. Now she only wanted to kill both of them, for everything. For all the suffering and humiliation, for making her into a wild woman, for all the lies and cruelty to her. She looked at one of her spears, thinking how easy would be to throw. It would be enough for the both of them. But at the same time, she told herself to calm down and take them alive. She needed information that could not be found on the internet.
