What should he do first?
Sleeping arrangements
“I do not trust sleeping in a lord’s manor...too many ears and eyes. Plus, won’t do well for the master’s reputation if he sheltered me.”
Hoping to keep whatever good will he could as the representative of another city’s inquisitorial forces, Marius thought it wise to elect sleeping elsewhere. Plus, he would have more freedom and protection to use an inn room for a base of operations and meetings. Bibles tend to get uppity when you decorate their rooms with protection runes. Inn rooms were easier to clean up.
He went into what appeared to be the more seedy side of the city and found himself a quaint tavern by the name of “The Downtrodden Respite”, obviously an ironic name but one that conveyed a cheap escape from the everyday rat race.
Next to it was also a stable, so it could be a good place for Tempest to stay...hopefully.
He went inside after putting Tempest in the stable, immediately spotting the bar and went over to talk with the keeper. He ignored the looks he was given by the other patrons, hoping to be left alone and go about his business.
Is he left alone?
Conflicts of Divine Interest
When Pantheons Misbehave
The world of Aesyr is a world of divinity and conflict. Three sides with their own believes collide in battles of war and political intrigue. But one thing is consistent...the ever evolving pantheon. The gods switch out their own rulers in a cosmic lottery. This year, it just so happens to have all the gods and goddesses of lust and conquest to be victorious.
