Sleep in, then some texts.

Your slumber is a deep one, and lasts for a long time. When you eventually awaken, the late morning sun blares through the window of your third floor room. You sit up, your whole body feeling stiff, including your morning wood. Stretching, you groan loudly as you start to shake the sleepiness out of your muscles. Yesterday was certainly a day, that’s for sure.

Sighing, you stand up, stretching once again, before stripping down. You need to take a shower, and you can take care of your libido in there too. Once in the bathroom, you turn the water on as warm as you can take, letting the heat soak into your body as you begin jacking off. You have plenty of things to think about while doing it. Fucking Nurse Joy last night, everything that had happened with Silver and Bugsy, and of course Daisy and Blue…

Blue…Blue..Blue! Oh, that’s right! You never asked Joy if she had seen Blue check in here! Did Blue make it here? She must have, she shouldn’t have had any trouble… hopefully. Quickly, you finish yourself off and then clean yourself as rapidly as you can. You hop out of the shower, dry off at light-speed, then go and grab your Pokédex. You can just text Blue, make sure she’s fine.

@Trainer_Red: Hey, did you make it to Pewter alright?

After a long, tense pause that was probably only fifteen seconds, she replies.

@BadBitchBlue: Of course I did. Guess you’re here too?

Oh, good she’s okay. The realization makes you let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding. You really don’t need to be so concerned, she can take care of herself, but it’s still nice to know for sure.

@Trainer_Red: Yeah, I just woke up. Had a late night. How are you?

Blue takes a few minutes to respond, so you decide to tell Mom and Daisy that you made it as well. After receiving a thank you from each for letting them know, Blue’s next text comes through.

@BadBitchBlue: I’m at Pewter Gym. My battle is in 15 minutes. I’m nervous.

@Trainer_Red: ! You’re challenging Brooke already!?

@BadBitchBlue: Yup.

Immediately, you throw on some clothes. Another pair of jeans and a black t-shirt. You have to go watch this, cheer Blue on.

@Trainer_Red: On my way. Hopefully the seats aren’t full.

No reply comes from Blue, so you just hurry out of your room and rush down the stairs. Nurse Joy greets you with a smile as you enter the lobby.

“Good morning Red. Did you sleep well?”

“Oh, uh, yes! Like a log. How about you?” You shuffle in place, wanting to just bolt but not wanting to be rude.

“Your clothes are clean, would you like to grab them?” Did she just ignore your question? Whatever.

“Oh, can I pick them up later? A… friend of mine is about to have her gym battle, and I’d like to go watch.” You explain hurriedly.

“Ah. The redhead?” She smirks.

“No, actually. A girl with sandy blonde hair. Name’s Blue.” You’re starting to bounce your weight from foot to foot anxiously.

“Ah, her! Yes, I know who you’re talking about.” Joy smirks again as she notices your clear impatience. “Well, I’ll just keep your clothes waiting then. They’ll be here when you get back.”

“Thank you! I gotta go, bye!” You spin on your heel and start jogging through the lobby.

“Have fun! Thanks again for last night!” She calls after you teasingly,

Blushing a little, you keep moving, leaving the Pokécenter and heading out into Pewter City. The city is significantly emptier and quieter during the day, most people being at work in either mines or factories. Several signs around the city direct you clearly toward the gym, so you have an easy enough time finding it.

The large building is in the northwestern corner of the city, separated from most of the other structures. It’s made entirely of stone, large boulders stacked up and seemingly melded together in a way that doesn’t quite look natural. The words ‘PEWTER GYM’ are hewn into the rock, just in case all the other signs weren’t enough.

A small crowd of people stream into the building, most likely all gathering to watch the upcoming match. Once a trainer issues their gym challenge, an hour is given for a crowd to form so that there is a live audience as well as whoever is watching the broadcast. The mandatory forfeits if a woman loses (either leader or female trainer) are a big draw, so plenty of people gather, even during the day. Some even take a break from work to view the spectacle, both excited to see an up and coming trainer tackle a gym challenge, and for the sex.

You follow the crowd in, painfully paying the entrance fee of 500 PD, bringing you down to just 480 PD in pocket. Ugh. Heading further down the hallway that’s more like a tunnel, carved from stone, you enter the interior stadium. Seats ring around the battlefield, forming a u-shape and rising as they go back, like any sports stadium. Cameras and recording equipment, as well as the people that run them, are scattered about, getting ready to broadcast the upcoming event.

The battlefield itself is a large, rectangular arena made of packed earth and large boulders. Fitting, for a rock type gym. You hurry to your seat, glad to have made it in time. Looking around, the stands aren’t completely full, since not everyone can take time off. Still, most of the seats are packed with people, and you wonder how Blue is going to manage in front of a crowd this large.

The chatter of the people gathering around you hushes as the voice of the in-gym announcer rings out, the woman herself unseen. “Ladies and gentleman, we are just about ready to get this show underway! I will introduce our contestants shortly, so get ready to make some noise!”

Your fists clench in anticipation, and you take a deep breath. Good luck, Blue.
