The Quest Board

The newly-minted adventurers moved over to the board and huddled around it, going over their options.

"Kobold band spotted in the hills... gathering alchemical ingredients... shapeshifter reported near the market?... Advert- this guy just wants someone to stand outside his store for a few hours?!"

They turned to look at Agatha, who just shrugged again. "It may not be prestigious, but a job's a job. If you don't want the easy money, someone else will take it."

"Hmm, okay. What about this one? 'Adventurers wanted to search for... Widersaca's hoard'? 'New leads uncovered, become rich beyond your wildest dreams'?"

Agatha straightened up with a scowl. "Oh hells, that lunatic again? I swear, I don't know how he keeps sneaking that onto the board. Look, forget about that, it's nonsense," she said, stepping out from behind the counter to tear the paper down.

Rosa just shrugged and looked back at the board. "I have to admit," she said after a moment, "this doesn't seem quite as thrilling as I was expecting."

A snort. "Welcome to Drachensturz, kiddo. Every farmgirl's dream. If you're too good for it, you can always try your luck in one of the cities. If you want my advice though, take a few easy jobs and get some experience under your belt and coin in your purse. You've got some fancy weapons, but ammunition doesn't grow on trees and no offense, but I doubt any of you could hit the broad side of a barn right now."

Fendis growled in response to the slight against her aim, ears angled back, but Rosa gently guided her away by the arm. "Yeah, thanks, we'll think about it."

Once the wolfgirl had calmed down, she turned to Alis and Sigrid. "Alright girls, so what's the plan?"
