Sinnoh

Author's note: This will follow the story of Pokémon platinum.

Your name is Lucas, and you live in Twinleaf town with your mom, next to your best friend Barry. You're up late watching a documentary by Sinnoh's Pokémon professor, Rowan, when you hear the phone ring. You go over to it and answer the phone.

"LUCAAAAASSS!!! You hear that documentary!? There's supposed to be a red Gyarados at Lake Verity! If we could catch a Pokémon like that we'd be uber famous!!! Tomorrow we're heading out to get one! Don't be late or you'll be fined $1,000,000," shouts Barry. He then hangs up the phone. You eventually go to sleep.
