Shrooms

Amanda was camping by herself. She had a very stressful job working for a new tech start up as the sole accountant and had a week off. Her company had taken off very quickly and she was working over 50 hours a week, and she needed a break.

As a girl she often went camping with her family, so she decided some fresh would be good, so she bought some camping gear and found a nice spot away from the public campgrounds and RV hookups.

Her spot as isolated near a mountain stream so she decided to go skinny dipping. As she walked to the stream, she came across some mushrooms. She thought they were the ones her family used to gather and cook, so she stopped to pick them.

She ate one raw and gathered the others. She walked back to her camp site to drop them off.

The mushrooms were not the ones her family ate; they were hallucinogenic, and she had just eaten an entire one.

Soon she was tripping. She stumbled naked through the forest, watching the colors of the leaves and flowers seem to subtly change color and undulate as the sun started to set.

She heard voices, and they seemed strange and almost liquid. She headed towards them.
