Short Term Action and a Long Term Plan

"Well that's sorted," you think. You walk over to the workers. "Carve out two bedrooms the size of mine next to each other, one being next to mine... with a passage in between all of them," you add. "And once you're done with that, two large barracks." You wonder if that's that new war skill kicking in already. Now you look at Claire who clearly has some things in mind. "I don't think we should leave. Even though we do have some extra bodies, they're not made for combat. Together they might take on a single lvl one, if they're lucky and it isn't a barbarian. I know this place isn't visited often, but it strikes me as possible your unfortunate acquaintances might come looking for ****."  
 Clarie nods thoughtfully " Strikes me as possible, Drake .. what is the long term plan here? In terms of all this" She gestures to the dungeon and his new minions.  You pause a minute thinking  remembering when you had a few allies you could trust,  remembering savage high level adventurers killing you over and over again, and finally thinking of the new additions to character sheet .. and what they might imply , or at least your theory so far.  " Long .. or at least mid term we need allies here. A single High Level adventurer could legitimately take out out of all us without much trouble even without any strategy . Not only for defense but for resource gathering , more builders , people to keep watch at night etc. We have serious need for people.
 Two" you continue your thoughts gaining momentum " A dungeon that can and will keep use safe. One that takes advantage of things average adventures ignore, and one that will be ideally unfair as possible. They aren't generally fair to us so time to make that even .. no offense .  
Thirdly ...  Some recent improvements have given me some questions. Something about heritage. Their are rewards for me doing so which is mighty interesting for "impartial" gods to be doing such.  In addition .. their are questions I don't have the answers to but a reward implies that they are indeed ,findable answers somewhere . I intend to find those answers .. somehow. 

Fourthly and Finally I need to got a lot stronger , for fighting things and also to be more reasonably gather more powerful allies. Clarie Nodded " That all makes sense... do you have immediate ideas for those?"
I have a idea for the first at least and that will inform the second at least to a degree. Kobolds are good place to start .. due to some new abilities draconic allies should be easier to recruit and theirs a tribe close by higher up the mountain. Their not too high of a level, in general I think the highest I've seen one of them was seven. To the third ... I'll admit I'm quite uncertain on where to start looking. Only clues we have are what I am and that still doesn't narrow it down as nearly as ,uch as one might immediately think. " The fourth is tricky .. depending. The primary way to gain exp is to either kill adventurers or NPC's, the higher level relative yours the better. So really the question is how to you and or Tara feel about killing adventure's.
Clarie stopped and paused for a second " How do I say this killing... players not so much a problem for me and ... I don't think it will be for Tara .. after all it is a ... temporary **** , further more when I said I'm with you. I meant it. I'm yours. This" she gestures around " has came so fast. It has me excited. I want to see just how far you can make it".
