Shoot the injured one!

Cameron's got the one monster handled, but the one you shot earlier is a loose cannon! You've gatta gettit outta here, by any means necessary. Luckily, in this case, that's a pretty simple task given that you've still got an explosive bullet left.

You raise your arm quickly and squeeze the trigger with the same loud BANG you became accustomed to after popping off four in a row -- unfortunately, just before you pull the trigger, the monster springs back to life and lunges out towards you, recovering from its injury and shock in much less time than you could've fairly expected.

None of that would've been a problem at all, except for the fact that you're not able to react and move your body in time, so your bullet ends up flying over the monster head harmlessly and exploding somewhere off in the distance. The last bullet that you had loaded, that is. This is not looking like good odds for Debbie.

The monster rushes towards you, wild and frenzied, and Cameron's too busy fighting his own two-armed guy to be able to help you out just yet. Eep! You raise your shield arm up and manage catch the attack early, but the monster put much more **** behind it than you'd have expected, especially since it now has less weight overall. Because you shot its simulation-lookin' arm all the way off earlier, hah!

Still though, as much as you may taunt it, the hit is still way too much for you to absorb with the shield. So as its strike pushes against you and you lock up your knees, you do your best to push back and sidestep, so that you can redirect the hit instead. It's a great strategy, {if@ StaffCombat == True}and one very much like a technique you learned for staff-based combat earlier{else}and a classic staple of many Warrior posters you've got around your room at home{endif}, but it relies on you having enough strength to push back against the powerful hit in the first place.
