Shinji: Open mouth, insert foot

A blue-haired boy places among the writhing worm floor that is Sakura's dungeon. A slap is heard throughout the dimly lit green chamber as his sneer, chiding voice grates through the room, unappreciative of the Servant Sakura has summoned. "You worthless bitch! I told you to summon the best servant, and you summon THIS? Even your worthless servant admits he is not the strongest." Shinji screeches, turning his gaze towards the white-haired, red-jacketed servant standing behind Sakura.

"Nee-san, I..." Another slap. Shinji moves for another, but, a dry, grating voice interrupts Shinji and causes his hand to freeze in midair. "It seems you are not appreciative of the gift I was going to give you." The withered, wrinkled form of Zouken Matou slowly saunters down the stairs, holding his hands behind his back.

"Grandfather, I..." Shinji stutters before Zouken cuts him off. "Silence, you pathetic whelp." The room is silent, save for the constant slithering of Zouken's many crest worms. Shinji dares not move. "You should be honored that I even considered you to redeem yourself as a Matou." Zouken rasps. "Of course, Grandfather, I-" Zouken once again cuts off Shinji. "SILENCE."

Not one more word dares escape Shinji's trembling lips. "You have committed the ultimate disrespect against me and insulted not only my servant but the tool I used to summon him." Zouken looks over at Sakura while pacing around her with a smirk. Sakura doesn't even flinch at neither her Grandfather's presence nor his referring to her as his tool.

"You no longer have the privilege to earn your right to be a true Matou. Sakura will participate in this war. She will win and return my Grail back to where it belongs." Zouken rasps. Shinji's jaw nearly drops. "But..." Shinji stutters. "Leave me. And be grateful I do not feed you to my worms." Zouken says, turning his back on Shinji for the last time.
