Shh, we are getting there, first waking up to adventure

Peach awoke on hard rock, it was flat, but she was enveloped in darkness. Around her soft nights of candles flickered to life on their own revealing two truths of her situation, she was naked in some sort of cave. Only her gold crown was visible, and it was on the floor of the cave a few paces away. Peach looked around, the candles were mounted on stalagmite and ridges on the cave floor and cubbies in the walls and roof. The cave was seemingly natural, but it all looked to be marble, but there was no water anywhere that she could detect.

“Hello?” Peach called softly, unsure if she was in danger.

There were no sounds of dripping water, not gusts of air, everything was still, even her echo was almost unheard. Peach got to a sitting position on the raised slab at the end of the room she was in and put her feet on the ground, softly at first, feeling for traps.

“Is anyone here?” Peach asked aloud.

Peach listened to her own breathing as she slowly stood up and softly walked to her crown. Each step was slow, soft and deliberate. This did not feel like a trap, but it was all to staged and she had not come here by choice. Peach looked around for anything to use a weapon. Nothing but the small candles and the crown.

“I guess I should grab it,” Peach said as she inched closer pawing at the ground with her bare feet looking for the traps at the crown.

She managed to pick up her crown with no traps being sprung that she could tell. Peach looked around the cave some more and spotted a passage in a far corner that she had not seen before. It seemed as she moved forward, more candles had lit up on their own, as if to guide her.

“That isn’t at all suspicious…” Peach muttered holding her crown and slowly making her way to the passage ahead of her.

Peach went down the softly illuminated passage slowly, watching for traps.
