She declines

Lisa had to be honest with herself; the doctor was incredibly good-looking. With dark brown skin that looked well taken care of and a very handsome face that didn't really look to be more than forty five, she knew that she should have jumped up at the opportunity. But she was a career-driven woman, and as much as dinner and more with this man sounded like fun, she really was here to focus on her work. Plus, she had a feeling that she really wasn't special and the man simply wanted her to be his new conquest.

She pulled her hands away from the table and clasped them on her thighs, smiling tightly.

"As tempting as that sounds, sir, I'll have to decline. I'll be really busy after work today. Maybe some other time?"

Kofi's bright smirk almost dropped and a barely noticeable look of slight shock made an appearance, but he quickly covered it up with a cough.

"Of course, dear. Well, I wish you luck working with us here. I'm sure you will grow to love it." There was not an ounce of bitterness in his voice, and his smile was genuine. Or so she thought.

Lisa thanked Kofi again before making her way out of his office.

He couldn't stop staring at her voluptuous ass as she walked out of his office, and when the door closed, his smile fell off like a mask. He could not believe the nerve of her rejecting him like that. Did she have any idea how many nurses at the hospital would give an arm and a leg to be in her position? She probably didn't. That was why she said no with that smug little look on her pretty Latina face. No one rejected him and got away with it. It didn't matter who they were.
