She and Fishfreak must face Bedevalus at his own size

"To even the scales, I must insist that the one called Fishfreak and I, Gaia Daughter, adopt your own human stature. Without that stipulation, your battle is truly hopeless." The woman's voice was all grace and booming authority.

The knight, as politely as he could manage to interrupt a woman, raised one hand to indicate he'd like to speak. "Ma'am, if I may, I should really prefer to face you both at full height-"

"It is no issue. If you have been so generous as to reveal yourself and issue this challenge, rather than launch a surprise attack, we may as well offer you this courtesy. Fishfreak, I trust you are willing to honor this condition as well?"

"DoooOOOn'T act so UPPitTY aftER that SUCK-kerPUNCH!" The fishy woman growled as she approached, slowly shedding fish to reduce her size. "FAIR enNOUGH, puNY BEDeVALus. I will SHOW you that I do not NEED the full STRENGTH of the SEA to DEstroy a paTHETic huMANoid...!"

To the man's annoyance, both women began to shed size, with the defender of Earth striking a pose and the other simply flinging fish everywhere, to splash into the water around the tower. As they did, Bedevalus groaned, seeing his pictured battle of giants slip between his fingers, like a toy eternally destined to be pinched and then lost from a rigged prize grabbing machine. Still, they were both supernatural entities. The fight they could provide still may be worthy... "Yes. Yes, this could still work." Eagerly, the man lowered an impossibly long, expanding siege ladder from the window and began to make his way down hastily, leaving the window to the princess' room flapping open so that a bad draft could enter in.

When he was down upon land once again, he picked out the shapes of the two women from before. The defender of Earth had become a simple, if attractive, woman, looking- to his dismay- more like a princess to be rescued than an opponent worthy of being smashed by his broadsword. The other looked much as she had before, although the jellyfish composing the upper half of her head now obscured most of her eyes and the available seaweed fit her a little more like a mummy wrap than a bikini now. He couldn't sense the massive power that they'd had as giants any more... either they were hiding it or it had dissipated. He sighed heavily.

Both women looked uncharacteristically offended for a moment, though Gaia Daughter recovered her calm frown soon enough. "Demon knight, we are now ready to engage you in honorable competition."

The words honorable competition put a bit of pep back in his step, as he grinned and flourished his broadsword. "Good... Very good! Ready your weapons, challengers!" He seemed to have forgotten that he was actually the challenger here. "I will happily dispatch you both at once."

Gaia Daughter's frown deepened and she shook her head slowly. It seemed she had another change to make...
