"Besides the obvious unfairness of attacking you two against one, you must know that I cannot cooperate with Fishfreak in her corrupt, enraged state. Mother Earth would never approve." The woman gave a weary, sidelong glance to her companion.

"That MAKES twooo of US! I'm not PLAYing NICE with a TOOL of the huMANs!" Her fishy foe sounded just as adamant.

Bedevalus groaned deeply, feeling his prize pool shrinking with every exchange of dialogue. "No! I insist: both of you at once! Quick, attack me, before exchanging any further dialogue! Because both of you are comely women, I attempted to be chivalrous, but I will not show you any further mercy!" The defender raised his broadsword high above his head, gathering swirling plumes of blue flames around its length as he grinned madly, determined to get a cool attack in and restore his two-on-one fight. His grin faded and his heart fell in his chest as he recognized the expressions of the two women: maidens, enamored with a handsome knight referring to them as 'comely women.'

"It is... Not appropriate to flirt with a servant of Mother Earth..." Gaia Daughter wore a conflicted expression, seeming immediately smitten.

"HuMAN... You find THIS COLLecTION of FISH and SEA-liffffe... comely?" Fishfreak echoed, pressing one finger to her lip as if to say "who, me?"

Blast! His chivalry had worked against him again. He wasn't even sure if he could attribute this failure to the curse or not. "N-No, I meant-"

"Fishfreak, I will spare him the indignation of saying it." The hero of Earth placed one hand upon her foe's shoulder, then shook her head slowly. "I must ascertain that he was referring to me when he said 'comely woman.' It is not my intention to seduce, Bedevalus. I would never employ such a cravenly tactic unless demanded by Mother Earth. I do not sense that it is possible for this man to be attracted to you."

The blue-skinned woman slapped away the consoling hand and sneered. "OoooOOOooh? Bitch, YOU canNOT stand to IM-MAggggINE that ONE of your PRESH-cious huMANoids would be ATTRacTED to SOUP-eriOR ocean-BASED lifeFORMS? You RACE-ist!"

Bedevalus approached, keeping both hands on his sword as if determined to show the women it was still what they were here for. "No... Forget I said that, it was just my courtesy as a knight! The Reality Crystal, remember?! The powerful stone, capable of changing reality! You remember that, right? You, you still want it, right, um, Fishfest? And you, Gaia Daughter, you want to defend it from her, right? And I still want to stop either of you from getting your hands on it! We still have a reason to fight!"

"Bedevalus, I-"

"GuoGUOguo! He WANTs a woMAN with SOME FIGHting SPIR-rit in her, or THE SPIR-rit of the enTIRE osh-CEAN!"

"That is not what he wants... I'm warning you as a kindness, Fishfreak."

The knight grit his teeth and cursed his luck, then squinted his eyes shut and hefted his sword again. He couldn't take it any more! Even if it meant discarding chivalry and honor, he'd land the opening strike and turn this into a true battle. With a sort of **** madness, he swung his immensely heavy blade towards the two women and roared, doing everything he could short of begging them to dodge it and return attacks of their own.
