She'll lure the Helltaker to game night with an unusual surprise

Malina sat on the toilet after showering, not to drop a deuce, but instead to organize her thoughts, ignoring the dripping of her wet body all over the seat and tile. While working a towel through the dense mop of her hair, carefully avoiding the horns... the demons had certainly ruined a lot of towels during their brief stay here by careless hair-drying. But the towels the Helltaker had were so much softer than the ones in hell... it was worth the risk of tearing them to enjoy this level of comfort.

"... I need something that says 'sexy' but still says 'video games,' so he knows that's what I want... video games, not sex, right..." She kept reminding herself of that, as she tried to picture herself wearing something skimpier than Judgement's outfit to lure him in. For an extra shot of inspiration, she took another huge swig of vodka. As the cells within her brain protested, fizzled, and died, a thought occurred to her nonetheless."That's right... I can dress as a video game character. Humans call that cosplay, right? A cosplay video game night... That sounds fun, but also a little flirty. Not that I'm flirting. But it's good if he thinks I am."

Malina's internal logic became more twisted the further she thought on it, but she'd decided on the premise. "I can make a game out of this too... That'll really draw him in. I'll randomize which Civilization I play." Now she was speaking out loud to herself... a dangerous way to plot, when crashing in an apartment full of demons one is trying to outwit. "But if he wants to see the costume, he has to come to cosplay night. Yeah... that could work!" She was maaaaybe a little bit interested to find out if seeing her in a costume would serve as a hook for the guy too...

Of course, there were sexier video game characters to dress as out there...

But she really wanted to play Civilization.

Any time the Helltaker nearly forgot that Malina was crashing at his apartment, the approaching smell of booze served as a good reminder. The demon had cleaned herself up to wash away the gamer-stank, but she'd need more than mouthwash to get rid of that killer vodka reek. Still, he tolerated it, even relished it. If the Helltaker had a superpower, it was his honed love for quirky demon traits others might find a reason for rejection.

The **** smell was a trademark of Malina by now, but it was pretty rare to see her seek him out for any reason. Since it was still early, he was busily preparing second helpings of his trademark breakfast food for all three of the Triple Demons... That was really the one demon you didn't want to ask for seconds, and yet, she did so every time.

Still, it gave him a little peace to flip pancakes in the kitchen while the others waited at the table. It also gave Malina a window of opportunity. She slouched in, still wielding her vodka bottle like some sort of club as she tried to deny her craving for a second helping of pancakes. Best to forego it for now. "Helltaker... I want my game night...!" Even she knew she was coming on too strong, not that his face showed it; he wore the same steely frown as always. "I mean... I've got an idea for a new game night, one that's sexier than what we'd been doing."

She bit her tongue as her lips rippled into an embarrassed frown. She hadn't meant to say it was sexy! Fun was the point, not sex!

Either way, it looked like the Helltaker was going to bite at it. "I'm there. But what's your idea?"

Malina recovered quickly, then brought out a sheet of paper with numbers and ancient civilizations written on it. "It's going to be a cosplay game night. You know about that, right? Basically, you roll a dice, and whichever number it lands on, I'll play that Civ and cosplay as their leader. I've got all day so... I'll go costume shopping." After all, everyone in the game was a human... it shouldn't be too hard to emulate the way they dressed, right? Malina thought as much, unfortunately unaware that the outfits the leaders wore were all pretty far out of date at this point.

"... I'm looking forward to it. But we're still playing co-op, right?"

Still frowning, but feeling the opposite of sour, Malina nodded, bobbing her bushy white hair. "Yeah... I mean, you haven't even had a chance to learn the game yet. Cause you never play..."

The Helltaker stroked his broad jaw thoughtfully with one finger, easily picking up on the fact that Malina was probably feeling pretty lonely. Gathering up the harem had been the easy part... keeping it maintained by picking up on each girl's daily signals was the hard part. "Well, tonight, I'm playing. So what do I do, just roll the dice?"

Malina nodded, then handed it to him along with the sheet. Who would she get? Someone with fancy armor, maybe? Or maybe someone sexy like Cleopatra? That really would be two birds with one stone...
