Shadow the Hedgehog

This just seemed like a no brainer, he probably got an invite anyways so she might as well. She dialed his number as Shadow, as grumpy as ever, asked "Is this important?"

"Kind of," Rouge said approaching the topic. "Look, I'm going to be blunt, you know that big ball G.U.N. is hosting?" there was a brief pause as Rouge asked before Shadow could talk. "Do you mind if we be each other's plus ones? I know dancing's not really your thing but you asked if this was important, it was. Time to relax is important, you know?" she continued about how Shadow is always playing loner until he needs something, about his attitude, and how much it drove her crazy.

"Rouge!" Shadow barked her sensitive hearing causing her to recoil as Shadow said "I'll go with you. I don't get it but you seem to really want to go with me so, fine. Pick you up before it starts," before he rudely hung up not that Rouge minded the dial tone still in her ear before she hung up her phone in resposne.

He said yes? Shadow the Hedgehog said yes to a ball? Shadow the Hedgehog said yes to a ball going with her?! She took a deep breath and realized she was turning into Amy with the fangirling. It's just a harmless time between friends. Though as much as Rouge told herself that, she couldn't help but feel this surge of emotion inside of her. What was she going to wear though? She thought about the ball and her usual choice of outfits, maybe it's time for another one to really knock Shadow's socks off. Though maybe she could risk trying to be cute instead of sexy. It might be more easily accepted.
