"Shadow's never minded the way that I dress, and he's never been a perv about it." Rouge thought to herself "I'll wear what I'd normally wear."

Rouge smiled loving her little outfit she put on. It was a black spaghetti strap dress that had just enough room to hoist up her breasts without revealing them to the world, though the side boob game was strong with it, the dress came down to her legs and the only other clothing she was wearing was her panties. She loved it, even did a girlish twirl to admire herself. She then heard something drive up but paused as it sounded like a normal car, not Shadow's motorcycle. Curious, she walked down and looked outside seeing Shadow walking up to her door knocking on it. It was kind of hard but...was he wearing clothes?

Rouge opened the door and became red as she looked at Shadow, he looked so handsome, she could tell he shined his quills for this, he also was in formal wear, a black suit with a red tie, and he smelled divine. Her smile was wide as Shadow was a little red clearly checking her out too, "So the Ultimate Life Form can dress nice if he wants to," she teased getting a hmph from Shadow in response as she said "Thanks for this Shadow, I know this isn't really your thing, so I appreciate this."

The black hedgehog responded with a simple "This seems to mean a lot to you and you're my teammate and friend." which caused Rouge to blink as Shadow always called her ally, "So, I'll do it for you" which caused Rouge's face to feel a little warm. She knew he didn't mean it romantically, but she couldn't help but think of it that way given what was her real intentions with inviting Shadow in the first place.

As she walked out she blinked in surprise, this was a car, not one of their racing vehicles either but, a geniune four door car. She looked at Shadow and asked "How long have you had this?"

"Today," was Shadow's response "I prefer my motorcycle or borrowing the G.U.N. jeep. However given we were dressing formally, I felt I should get something practical, since I don't buy much with my pay it was kind of easy to just buy a car." he admitted so casually with a shrug. Though Rouge was getting a little more hot under the collar. Responsible with money, good looking, practical, and willing to go the extra mile for someone, Shadow was striking a lot of boxes for boyfriend material. However, she had to remain calm. Let the night take her first.

Shadow opened the car door for Rouge, which she noted down as a little odd for him but she certainly didn't mind the manners as they drove off. Shadow said "Your dress is going to be able to hold itself together, right? I don't want you to be embaressed in front of our co-workers"

Rouge nodded saying "Shadow, you know what I like to wear" pointing that out to him as she could have sworn she heard him chuckle a little 'Trust me, the only one removing this tonight will be me after the dance."

Shadow responded with a simple "If you say so,"

They parked next to the ballroom this was taking place as the two of them got up to head inside, Shadow asked "Do you want to get something to eat first or dance?"

Rouge paused at that, food sounded nice but she also wanted to dance with Shadow to see if there was any sparks.
