Seek a weapon for Mei

Even with her current damaged cultivation, thanks to their double cultivation Mei was still miles ahead of Ren when it comes to cultivation and according to her she could rival strong murims... but no matter how strong she was, fact was that she lacked a weapon and fighting without a weapon she was used to would mean being unable to exert her full ****. What if she met someone on the same level, but couldn't beat him because she didn't have a proper weapon to fight with while the opponent did?

It was a serious concern, and therefore the couple decided to first stop by a weapon store in order to buy a glaive or at least know the prices.

Finding a weapon store was easy, but as expected the cost of a decent glaive was too much for their finances, which fell further as they previously spent 2 coins for some very filling breakfast that should keep them sated till dinner.
100 coins for a good one, and 50 for a so-so! Even the cheapest second-hand ones went for about 20 coins!
Maybe they could bargain for it, but even if they did manage to acquire the cheapest kind they would have blown most of their money including inn budget over a weapon that may snap at anytime if Mei didn't control her strength well!

What to do?
Should they compromise and bargain for it at the risk of buying some low-quality goods with their living expenses, or first try to hunt and gain some funds to improve their equipment and pay for their living expenses?
