See who it is

You step in front of Julia protectively as the footsteps grow louder. Windstress enters the room and is surprised to see you two.

"What are you two doing here?" she asks.

"Are you Windstress or Changer?" you respond.

"Windstress. Why would you think I'm- Wait. Where's my husband?" There's panic in her eyes.

Apologetically, you and Julia step out of the bathroom and beckon Windstress to go in. She wails when she sees Finder on the ground and you wait outside while she cries. After a while, she storms out of the bathroom, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"What happened? Did you kill him?" she demands.

"No! We found him like that. He called me and begged me to help him. He said he knew that Changer had taken your form and came into the house. She must have killed him."

"And now she has his ring! She's going to hunt us down for our rings..."

"Julia said there were 2 other members who were killed. What do their rings do?"

Windstress sighs and sits down on the bed. "I guess there's no use hiding it from you anymore. Yes, there were two other members. I don't know what happened to Gina but she killed them for their rings."

"Gina?"

"That's Changer's real name. Gina Tremble. She's my brother's daughter."

"And she just killed her uncle?"

"I guess she did. And now she's coming for the rest of us."

"What about the other 2 rings? I need to know what they do if I'm to beat her."

"One gives her the power of time travel, but she has to stay in the same spot. The other is the ability to walk through walls or any objects."

Taking in the new information, you try to play out the possible scenarios in your head. She could definitely hurt you, but you still have the upper hand in terms of magical powers.

"How do we find her?"

"You don't. She hasn't been home for weeks and without my husband's ring, there's no way to know who she could be. We'll just have to wait like sitting ducks. Here, take this. I'm done," Windstress removes her magic ring and hands it to you.

You take it and hand it to Julia, who looks surprised. You nod and she slips it on.

"What about the others?" you ask, referring to Flyer and Lightning.

Windstress looked desolate. "I doubt they're still alive. I don't care. Go."

Julia shrugs and tugs at at your hand. She's not comfortable staying here with Changer nearby, so you teleport back to her studio apartment.
