Chapter 232 by lew54321

Does Lucy agree to help…again?

Second times the charm

“Alright fine… It does sound nice to hang out normally for a change. It’s just you always push it a little too far and make me regret it” Lucy answered, giving you some insight into her side of the story.

You felt slightly saddened that Lucy was seeing you that way but if it took her being a part of some of your decision-making going forward to fix that then you would gladly take that deal. In the same way that you wanted Rebecca to be more involved with the rest of the subjects, you wanted the atmosphere between them all to be as good as you could make it. There's no point in adding people to a harem if everyone in it didn’t like each other.

With the idea of not pushing her too far, you kept your hands and feet to yourself while she was naked, losing some seconds on the KDK in hopes of keeping her happier.

“So, the next topic is still important but I think it will take a lot more thinking on both our parts. Sarah seems to think that I should have more of a decision over what her future will be like and while I think she thinks about this stuff for herself, I don’t see any harm in giving her some suggestions for her to choose from. Anyway, enough pretext. Sarah wants me to choose a career for her” you admitted, finding yourself waffling on and knowing you wouldn’t have enough time to go over everything you wanted if you carried on.

“She really wanted you to pick for her?” Lucy asked, looking sceptical.

“Yep, she did say that if she thought my idea was stupid then she wouldn’t just accept it but she seemed pretty serious. She’s into cheerleading at the moment and I know roughly what her grades are but other than that… I’m just not sure. Me and Emma have our sights on going to the same college so I’m not opposed to her tagging along and coming living with us but…” you replied, explaining some of your thought process.

“Wait, you wanna live with Emma? I would have thought you’d want some independence but… I guess she’s okay with you bringing girls home huh” Lucy responded, remembering Emma’s fetish mid-sentence.

“Anyway, we're getting off track. You got any ideas on what you think Sarah would enjoy? Anything really. A job, career or just a subject that made you think ‘Oh Sarah would love that’?” you asked again, trying to consider the options yourself as Lucy started to think.

With your PC in front of you, you loaded up the website for the college you and Emma hoped to get into, alongside another tab to see what jobs those courses would help with. With Lucy next to you, you considered bringing up her college as well just as a comparison but decided to just focus on the one for now. Lucy had moved pretty far away, as if to get as much distance as she could between herself and your father and while Lucy might enjoy Sarah joining her in a new city, Mom was unlikely to be too thrilled with the idea of both of her daughters moving that far away. You knew she would have never agreed to Lucy going if she hadn’t been as adamant about it.

Lucy’s campus was more arts-focused anyway whereas the one you planned on attending had traditional subjects as well as more varied courses to offer as well. You planned on going down the psychology route, most likely down a medical one first and Emma was most likely picking a subject she enjoyed with a teaching course being added on. Both of these were subjects you didn’t expect or think Sarah would particularly enjoy doing herself.

Lucy seemed to still be thinking but her eyes now focused on your first monitor as you scrolled down the full list of courses they had available, occasionally stopping your cursor over one and looking to Lucy to see what she thought. She shook her head at a few and pulled a funny face at some of the weird ones you hovered over just to mess with her but the first that caught both your and Lucy’s attention and had a job you wanted to put forward to Sarah was the course for Journalism.

While at first it didn’t really stick out from the list, one of the career paths being a sports journalist was what piqued the interest of both you and Lucy.

“You think she’d go for that?” Lucy asked, leaning forward on her stool to get a better look at your screen.

You had taken constant glances at her body whenever you felt you could get away with it but there were times when your eyes met and Lucy noticed your gaze, not averting your eyes given that this was still supposed to be her punishment. With her leaning forward and resting her elbow on your desk with her head in her hand, you got a great look at her tits as they were now supported on your desk and it seemed she was interested enough in what she was reading to not care about how she looked.

“It's the only one that's stuck out to you so far. I did see the physiotherapist job role earlier that I thought would be good as well but you didn’t seem as keen on that one” you replied, mentioning the one other career that hadn’t seemed bad in your eyes.

“...I can’t imagine her sticking with that, to be honest. Plus, I think that the journalism degree would open up more doors even if she didn’t want to go down the sports journalist route” Lucy replied, explaining her thought as she turned her eyes away from the screen to look at you.

You did have to agree with her there. You were committed to spending quite a few years in education to further your goals and with the KDK’s help, you were hoping to find a way to alleviate your money concerns. Sarah on the other hand didn’t seem to have the drive to do that much more education given that she had asked you to decide for her and although money also wouldn’t be a concern for her if you got your way, she might worry about it herself and regret taking a longer course.

“You want to keep looking or think that’s a good enough suggestion to give to her?” you asked, starting to feel the monotony of scrolling down giant lists of courses and job recommendations.

“Nah, let’s stop with that and just see what Sarah says. If she doesn’t like it, she might give you a clue as to what she would prefer” Lucy replied, moving back away from your desk.

Your mind felt a little clearer now that you had mentally ticked off one of the topics you needed to consider but that still left more that you needed to go through.

“You ready to move onto the next one then?” you asked, taking in a deep breath as you tried to keep your motivation up.

Do you make it through all your worries?
