Sea/River Elves (Homo Elfas Aqua)

Sub Specie: Homo Elfas Aqua (a.k.a. Sea/River Elf)

Relative Height: Between 5'6" to 5'8" tall (Homo sapien non-conformative)
Relative Weight: Between 90 to 110 lbs (Homo sapien non-conformative)
Relative Build: Somewhat light to medium athletic due to significant time spent swimming and dancing. Flexible. Structure variation is homo sapien conformative.

Distinctive Physical Features:

• Mid level angled ears, sharp pointed. No variations.
• Light skin tones with small blue, yellow or cyan speckles visible on various parts of the skin, spread out normally into symmetrical patterns. Sea elf variety have unique bio luminescent speckles that glow in dark conditions underwater. Research confirms speckles are not scales or rough skin, and are, in fact, part of the smooth skin tissue. Both sub specie types are highly resistant to cold and can clearly see in dim light conditions.
• Hair colors are distinct blues, purples, greys, greens, browns and blondes. Very large variations but almost always lighter in saturation. Some particular variations contain hair heterochromia, with secondary colors almost always a shade of blue.
• Eye colors are distinct with various shades of yellow, green and blue. All shades inconsistent with homo sapien color spectrum and unique blends. Sea elf variety have unique bio luminescent irises that glow in dark conditions underwater.
• Unique non visible body adaptation that allows them to survive and 'breathe' in water almost indefinitely. Oddly enough, also grants them an incredible tolerance for **** and other substances normally intoxicating to humans, as well as an incredible vocal range.
• Recently discovered the novelty of the human belief in the 'mermaid'. Some tend to magically turn their legs into fins for fun and games.

Distinctive Metaphysical Features:

• Average magical ability, Class level 3 out of 5. Utilizes magic primarily as a survival tool and as a form of entertainment.
• Average intelligence. Average member easily possesses around 100+ IQ on humanoid spectrum. Oddly possesses a kind of 'group think' or 'group empathy', where any one member can sense another one's thoughts or emotions over short distances (about 20 ft apart). A great adaptive communication tool.
• Average members can be highly sociable, empathic, adventurous and fun loving. Tendency to either seek regular entertainment or seek out others to regularly entertain, making them frequent visitors to parties or gatherings near bodies of natural water. Only productive enough to care for themselves and their communities, relying on outsider communities for mostly everything else. Hierarchies are minimal to non existent, becoming an exception to the gerontocracy rule. The most a tribal village would have is a semi present chief and several minor authorities below her, choosing their leaders according to who is the most charismatic.
• Particularly frequent sex partners as they view it as the ultimate form of pleasurable entertainment. Tendency to be wild, free, loud and spontaneous with minimal boundaries. Many tend to be particularly enthusiastic and straightforward, not wasting any time beating around the bush and preferring to enjoy having their holes filled without hesitation, prompt, ceremony or permission. One of few sub specie that actively indulge in sex frenzy, willingly throwing themselves into spontaneous orgies with little to no regard. Considered too wild to become a proper **** and those that are actually kept are almost always blue collared.
• Highly migratory by nature, but will put down roots in places where interactions with others are most plentiful and frequent. Despite appearances, they have incredibly good memory retention, able to accurately recall concepts and information from hundreds of years in the past.

The elves of the seas and rivers enjoy a great deal of freedom, as their kind were some of the least ambitious of all elven subspecie, so much so that they have had no queen or empress to rule over them in their entire history. With many villages found across almost any coastline and waterway on multiple continents, their only desire in life was to live out their long lived lives to the fullest, where every day was another day for them to indulge in the simplistic exhilaration of being alive. As coined by a researcher in a study, a sea/river elf's entire existence was like a party that would last for about 3,000 years, one that was filled with song, dance, games, and all around good times, characterized by their melodic ululations that traditionally express their excitement and joy. Most of the other subspecies view them as tribal nuisances, but never enough to warrant intervention or purging since they do have their uses in entertaining sailors during their long voyages.

Not much has changed for them in post cataclysmic times. Like many minor sub specie, they did not participate in the Last Defiance, and for that, the Great One mercifully lessened the initial impact of the change imposed onto all elfkind. With the merging of two worlds, the oceans became far more vast than anything previously imagined. They had since become one of the most widespread elves in the human world, taking their pleasure seeking adventures to the next level as they happily integrated with numerous coastal, riverside and lakeside human settlements. They can often be found on many boats out at sea, or on the beaches of populated tourist spots or the border towns, happily approaching any man that so happened to strike their fancy and convincing them to fuck them silly.
