The IAA forces only realized what had happened a few minutes later as it took their collars a moment to fully process the chain of events that had occurred.

They'd first been killed alongside everyone else on the Vanguard. Colonial Friendly Fire. That had registered all crew on the Vanguard as the property of the Wind of Autumn. Their ship. Wind of Autumn however was now a Colonial ship after having been seized meaning all UCA prisoners now belonged to the UCA. As well as the other pleasure and personal slaves that had been on board from other nationalities.

What was even stranger was the class ship that was registered as the boarding vessel that had made it all happen.
