Scott Pilgrim was half jogging half zoning out down the sidewalk in Toronto headphones on full volume. He was thinking about Ramona (as usual) not paying any attention he had already walked into the street three times the only reason he didn't get hit was because the drivers were paying attention. Suddenly his sneaker caught on something solid and flat.
