Save them

After the Lupicks have passed, Captain Kirie makes a hand motion calling for a few of her soldiers to follow her. Felicia, Sasha and Clarissa do so.
The four women sneak back into the tunnel behind the Lupicks. They aim theirs guns at the creatures and then the captain calls “Fire!” they take down both Lupicks carrying a woman as well as two others. The only one remaining turns around to see who is attacking them, only to get taken down by a bullet to the head, courtesy of Eveline

With the Lupicks down, Kirie walks up to the women.

“I am Captain Kirie of the Rose Squadron. Report.” The captain says.

The Latina looks at Kirie with fear and asks, “Who are you?”

“We are soldiers sent in to scout the tower.” Kirie explains. “The Lupicks who captured you came our way. We decided to take them down and rescue you and your friend. Are you hurt?”

Suddenly the woman jumps forward and hugs Kirie. “Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

Sasha gets to the black woman and helps her up. After they calmed down they women introduce themselves.

The Hispanic woman is named Gabriella. Her black friend is Samantha. Both of them are civilians from out of state. They explain that ever since the towers rose they’ve been trying to contact their friends living here. None of them ever answered their phones. At first they decided to let the army do its thing. But when they saw the first attack wave being obliterated by the monsters, men being ripped to shreds, they felt they had to find their friends themselves. So they got themselves some weapons, drove all the way here and snuck past the military blockade to be heroes. They were captured in their first battle with the towerlings.

Kirie couldn’t believe what she heard. A couple of gun ho civilians who think they can do better than trained soldiers.

“Look, we are on a mission.” The captain says. “We are not turning back for just you two, so you can follow us or get back home by yourselves.”

Gabriella and Samantha look at each other, then look at the Kirie and say, “We’ll stay with you.”

“Good, consider yourselves conscripted.” Kirie says.

Lizette was honestly surprised the Lupicks didn't take the time to inseminate the women before this point.

Felicia walks up to Gabriella and hands the woman her sidearm. Eveline puts an **** rifle in Samantha’s hands and says, “This one was Lina’s. One of ours that got taken by the towerlings already. Use it well.”

With the two civilians conscripted, Rose squad continues into the tunnel. The tower entrance should not be far now. They’ve almost reached their target.
