Saturday Night Karaoke Bar

It was a bleak Saturday Afternoon. Unfortunately for everyone, the weather was terrible and it hadn’t stopped raining since the early hours of the morning.

The weekly football game was an Away one so the mood on campus was fairly quiet. A lot of students were just using this as a drinking-free weekend so they could focus on their studies.

However, the East Hall were planning to do things a little differently tonight.

Tiffany and Paul, the two RA’s of East Hall had organised a little bonding night. They had invited everyone in the hall to a night out in the city at a karaoke bar.

Not everyone would be able to attend or wanted to but there was still quite a bit of interest from 15 or so from the Hall.

Mark wasn’t the biggest karaoke fan but he said he would go due to some peer pressure and convincing from Matt and Cassidy.

As usual, Tiffany was on top of everything, she had organised a mini bus that would take the group into the city. Mark admired just how much she thought about looking after everyone.

Around 8PM, the group from East Hall that was heading to the city made their way onto the mini bus. There was only about 15 to 20 people but a lot of Mark’s favourites were making the trip.

Matt and Cassidy were of course coming. Jess and her roommate Tara were keen to go. Miranda never considered bailing out and Ali changed her plans last minute to tag along.

“I’m glad you decided to come!” said Cassidy as he took a seat on the mini bus opposite them.

“I don’t think I had much choice,” he replied.

Mark noticed the tight black leather pants she was wearing. He really had to envy his roommate and how he would get to rip those pants off and nail her into oblivion later tonight.

For the rest of the bus trip, Mark remained pretty quiet. Just listening in to other people’s conversations while remaining silent.

If he was **** to get up on stage to sing tonight, he was going to need to be drunk.

Mark looked behind him to see Paul taking a gulp from a silver flask.

“Is that **** in there?” he turned to ask.

Paul stared at him blankly, “Nah dude it’s orange juice... what are you thinking bro, of course there’s **** in here.”

Despite his embarrassment for asking such a stupid question, Mark continued, asking if he could have some.

Paul passed over the flask and Mark gulped as much as he could down. The taste of vodka made him cough hysterically as he gave the flask back.

“You need to learn to handle your **** bro,” said Paul taking a sip for himself from the silver flask.

Eventually they arrived at the bar, Tiffany god bless her, had organised a private room for them. They had a stage for karaoke, their own private bar and some table and stools spread around the room.

Apparently the owners owed her a favour from last year so it was much cheaper than the usual booking prices.

Mark went straight to bar to buy two beers, one to finish immediately and the second to take back to the table. He wasn’t the quickest drinker but he got the first one down and looked around for where he should sit.

Unfortunately any chance of sitting with Tiffany tonight was not possible. Her table was full, clearly everyone wanted to be around Tiffany due to her organising the night.

He was going to have to make a decision here, there was a table that had Matt and Cassidy on it, Mark would feel comfortable with them.

There was another with the campus cocktease, Jess and her roommate Tara. Mark thought Jess was one of the hottest girls on campus so why wouldn’t he want to sit there.

Then there was a third option, the blonde busty Miranda and the sweet but ever so sexy Ali. He was a little surprised to see them sitting together as they never hung out.

Mark thought about it carefully, keen to work up some brownie points for whoever he sat with.
