Sako's arrival

The next morning she was in the backseat of her mother's car looking the landscape changing from the buildings of the city to the vastness of the open country as they get closer to the village, this day underwear and two additional outfits all of them consisting of three items were added to her current wardrobe and packed for her staying at her grandfather's house the whole week.

The car stopped at the entrance of the village, sako's got off the car, she and her mom said goodbye to each other then her mother turned on the engine and disappeared by the same road they'd come from, now she was alone in front of the rural village in front of her eyes

Because of the rain of the past days the dirt road of the village had become mud, brown and slippery;

She's started to walk down the muddy road looking for her grandfather's home, she had precise indications to find her grandpa's house, it was a big house with a wall made of stone and a red gate in the principal road, after a rather short walk in the mud past a dozen rather irregularly built houses she found her grandpa's house.

She called at the door but there was no answer, she stood there in silence looking around thinking that maybe he wasn't home when she started to hear barks from the inside, the barks became more intense until finally the gate opened, the person that appeared in front of her was nothing like what she excepted, Sako had not seen her grandfather since she was like five and thus she didn't remembered a lot of him, she didn't remembered his aspect or his name, if the two of them had met on the street she doubt she would had recognized him, because her lack of memories the idea she had of her grandfather was built on two things he was an hermit that having the capability to buy a house on the city preferred to live in this God forgotten place and that he raised her mom like she what she was today. she expected that in the moment the gate opened from it will appear a mean-faced old boar-like man with ferocious eyes but instead of that the person in front of her was a snowy haired old man slightly hunched with of kind eyes being a pair of glasses and a calm smile, behind him a medium sized Akita uni sticked out its tongue and waved its tail clearly happy to see a new face.

"sako! What a surprise, what are you doing here?" he asked.

"HI grandpa, mom said that it'll be good if I passed a few days here" she replied.

"Well, come on in, I'll show you the house" said sako's grandpa with a smile and she followed him inside.

They crossed courtyard walking over a clean and paved path, the courtyard was almost completely converted with grass with a few trees and flower pots, they went into the house, took of their shoes and Sako's grandpa started to give her a tour of the house, it had a very traditional style with the bathroom and the toilet in separated rooms, it had two bedrooms one for sako's grandpa and one free for her to sleep. All the place looked clean, clean and old, but it had all the things necessary to live, well, almost all things, it didn't had power, in fact the whole village didn't had electricity and of course neither internet connection.

Sako looked at her nearly out of charge phone and sighted, these were going to be long days for her.
