Chapter 289 by Exarch-of-Sechrima Exarch-of-Sechrima

Interesting is a word

Safe in your space, I'm open, wide open

“What’s the matter?” Kim asked, batting her eyelashes as she felt Nick’s hot gaze run over her body. Her heart was pounding in her chest and she felt like she was going to die of embarrassment, but she managed to hide that behind her smile. “Don’t like me like this?”

“Well, uh… it’s definitely an interesting choice in this weather,” Nick said, taking great strides to keep his eyes focused on Kim’s. He didn’t want to ogle her like a voyeur, even though a part of him thought that she might like that.

“You can’t say you liked me wearing that shirt,” Kim giggled. “I looked like a carnie! Which is fitting, because one time… ah, forget it.”

She shook her head as she laughed, which made her boobs bounce. “It’s not important anyway. What’s important, well…”

Kim stretched her arms behind her and arched her back, pushing her boobs forward. That was enough to draw Nick’s attention, and his eyes shot to her chest involuntarily before he managed to tear his gaze back up to her eyes. But she knew he had looked, and that made her smile.

“I’m surprised,” Dawn said, crossing her arms over her chest. “You finally get a chance to wear something besides one of those school uniforms, and you couldn’t wait to take your top off.” She was a little annoyed that Kim could so brazenly go topless while she would never do the same with her own meager chest, but at least it was someone like Kim who had a more reasonable chest size. It practically any other girl in Nick’s harem had gone shirtless, she would have burned with shame (and maybe some envy.)

Kim just shrugged and batted her eyelashes.

“Well… it’s not like I’m doing this for fun,” she clarified. “Mary had a little accident on one of the rides-”

“Oh my gosh!” Morgana’s eyes widened. “Is she alright?!”

Kim was nearly knocked over by the outpouring of emotion from the goth.

“Yes,” she clarified quickly. “Mary’s fine. It wasn’t that kind of accident. It’s just that one of the rides was so wild, her shirt flew off. And, well…”

She shrugged.

“Better me than her, right?” She asked Nick, cracking a crooked grin. Nick noticed though, that in spite of Kim’s bold statements, she was still covering her chest with her arm.

“I’m not so sure he’d think that way,” Rose tittered, smiling at Nick, who rolled his eyes.

“Come on, Rose, let’s not go there,” he scoffed, though he didn’t deny that. “I’m not going to say one way or the other about stuff like that. I don’t think about people that way.”

Though, yes, Mary’s massive chest bouncing around without the meager support her shirt offered would be something incredible, that was for sure.

“Well, I can say, do you guys want to go again?” Kim asked. “It seems like you guys were having fun with him on that ride.”

“Yes, definitely!” Sylvia nodded eagerly. “I still need my go with Daddy!” She turned to Nick. “Unless you’d like me to go topless, too?”

Nick didn’t even want to THINK about going there.

“Absolutely not,” he snapped, shaking his head. Then his expression softened. “If you want to go, though, that’s fine with me.”

“But what about me?” Morgana whined, looking down sadly.

“I’ll go with you next, okay?” Nick offered.

“To be fair, Morgana DID ask you before Sylvia did,” Dawn pointed out.

Why did everything have to be so complicated?

“I know,” Sylvia said. “We can decide this by a challenge!”

Nick rolled his eyes. He should have expected that from Sylvia of all people.

“A challenge?” He asked. “What kind of challenge?” It wasn’t like she had any powers or anything like that.

“Simple,” Sylvia said. “Morgana and I will go on the ride next by ourselves! And we’ll see who can last the longest without throwing up going at top speed!”

“…Yeah, no, that doesn’t really seem fair,” Dawn replied automatically. “Sounds like you’re giving yourself a lot of advantage with that challenge.”

“Yeah, let’s decide this with something more fair,” Rose agreed. “I know! Whoever can suck Nick’s cock better-”

“Rejected,” Nick cut her off automatically. “How about we focus on keeping things above the belt?”

“Boob-fondling contest, then?” Sylvia asked instead.

She really wasn’t getting it.

“What I said was code for ‘no sex stuff’,” Nick replied. “You know, if you two are just going to bicker, maybe Dawn and I could go together?”

“Me?” Dawn’s eyes widened in surprise. “Well, uh… I suppose that’s something… but how about we save me for last?”

“Fair enough,” Nick agreed. But they still needed to settle things.

“Can’t you just do it the easy way?” Dawn asked, eager to get off the subject of her own pairing with Nick. “Just do rock-paper-scissors.”

“Really?” Sylvia tilted her head to the side. “That’s a little basic, don’t you think, my girl? Not complex in the slightest.”

Dawn raised her eyebrow. “I don’t think complexity is really the goal here,” she replied.

“Okay, fair enough,” Sylvia nodded. She looked around and dashed over to a fenced in little circle of green with a tree growing out of the center. She picked up a hefty rock out of the dirt and turned back to the group. “Alright, I’m ready.”

Morgana turned pale. “Wait, what?!” She stammered, shaking. Her eyes swam in her head as she tried to think about what was happening.

“What?” Sylvia shrugged. “Rock-paper-scissors, right?”

Nick crossed his arms over his chest and raised his eyebrow. “Come on, Sylvia. We all know you’re not that stupid. Stop pretending.”

Sylvia blinked, then sighed. “You guys are no fun,” she muttered, dropping the rock back in the grass and going over to rejoin the others. “Okay, fine. Morgana… you can go first.”

“Really?!” Morgana’s eyes widened in surprise. “You mean it?!”

“Yeah, sure, what the heck?” Sylvia shrugged. “I can wait, as long as Daddy and I have fun when we’re together.”

She smiled sweetly at Nick, who was assaulted with a complex mix of emotions in that moment. He was grateful to Sylvia for deciding to be big enough to let Morgana have this, but at the same time, he wasn’t exactly thrilled about the look she was giving him, either.

Finally, though, he decided that it didn’t really matter- the important thing was that everyone was getting along and enjoying themselves.

“Alright, so we’re gonna start it up again?” Kim asked, glancing around at the other girls.

Morgana blushed and half-stumbled over to Nick, trying to keep her balance. Her pale face was as red as the contact lenses in her eyes.

“Um… Nick… I appreciate this,” she mumbled, nearly falling over. Nick could see she was pretty dizzy. Maybe Sylvia was right to let her go first- he wasn’t sure she’d make it to the third round on the cups.

“You sure you can handle this?” He asked.

“I-I can,” Morgana assured him, trying to put on a strong face. “Don’t worry! It’s not like… um… it’s not like I’m going to throw up on you, so don’t worry about that!”

She might have thought what she said sounded reassuring, but all it did was put an image in Nick’s mind that he could really do without.

He tried to smile that off, but he found he really couldn’t.

“Well, gee… that’s… thanks?” Nick didn’t like thinking about the possibility of Morgana throwing up all over him- it wasn’t like he had a chance of clothes, and Kim was already down a shirt.

Plus, he might not be bold enough to say this out loud, but he was kind of enjoying the attention from Rose clinging to him all the time. He doubted she’d be so forthcoming if he smelled like throw-up for the rest of the day.

Morgana clearly wasn’t convincing herself, either. The closer they got to the cups, the more unsteady she looked on her feet. Finally, it came down to Nick to comfort her.

“It’s fine,” he said, placing a gentle hand on her back. He rubbed her shoulder-blades softly in order to keep her nausea down. “We can go really slow for you, okay?”

“Oh… thank you, that means a lot,” Morgana said, smiling sweetly at him. Nick saw that had already started to improve her gait.

The two sat down in the lacy black cup, which did, in fact, feel like a lace bra, and the ride began to spin. Nick made sure to keep the spinning to a medium, and just enjoyed sitting across from Morgana and watch her face shift into expressions of worry, excitement, and abject terror.

“Uwaaah!” Morgana wailed, clinging to the wheel. Her knuckles were even whiter than usual.

“That was so much fun!”

By the time the ride ended, Morgana was practically a different woman from the one who had climbed into that cup. Her eyes were shining with excitement and she had a spring in her step. It was a nice return to form for the perky goth that Nick had started to get to know, and he smiled with relief.

“I’m glad you enjoyed it,” he said, patting her on the back. “You sure did seem to be screaming, so I had no idea.”

“Screaming with excitement,” Morgana laughed. “It’s one of the fun of thrill rides… not that I ever went on them before.”

Nick thought she must have been a pretty easy woman to please. After all, if she’d enjoyed herself like that so much, on such an easy spinning pace like the one they’d gone on, that said a lot about what her tolerance level for “thrills” was.

A part of him, a very bad part that shouldn’t be listened to under any circumstances, wondered what would happen if he put her on a roller coaster. He imagined a lot of vomiting and screams of terror and fear.

“Uwegh… that… blegh… no… I… I’m gonna throw up, I’m gonna…”

Sylvia stumbled across the courtyard of bra cups, holding her hand over her mouth. The world was spinning around her and she was having a hard time trying to maintain her balance.

“Sylvia?” Nick looked at her worriedly.

Rose and Dawn followed after her at a safe pace, wearing amused expressions on their faces.

Nick stormed over to them.

“What did you do?” He asked, looking pointedly at Rose.

“Moi?!” Rose held her hand over her chest and swooned, like he’d made a horrid accusation against her. “What a rude thing to say! Why do you insist it was my fault?”

Nick crossed his arms over his chest and said nothing at all.

“…It was Dawn’s idea!” Rose tattled on the cat girl immediately.

“Me?! You were the one who kept picking up the speed!” Dawn exclaimed, her tail swishing behind her in agitation.

“But you were the one who wanted to give her a taste of her own medicine!” Rose whined.

Nick sighed and rubbed his temples, blocking out the two of them trying to pin the blame on the other. He could gather what happened here. Dawn and Rose had upped the speed a lot higher than Sylvia was comfortable with, and…

“I was just giving her what she asked for,” Dawn sniffed, turning up her nose at the Frenchwoman. “She wanted to up the speed while Morgana was riding? She can learn to handle it for herself, then. Simple as that.”

Nick sighed again. Yeah, that sounded exactly like what Dawn’s moral compass would result in.

“Leave her alone, guys,” he pleaded. “She’s trying to learn how to get along with people, and jokes at her expense aren’t helping.”

“It’s just hazing,” Rose shrugged. “It’s what friends do, right?”

“How would either of you know what friends do?” Nick asked pointedly, driving the dagger into both of them.

“…Ow,” Dawn winced.

“…Okay, that was a good one,” Rose sighed, looking down. “Ouch.”

“I’m going to go check up on her,” Nick said, walking through the gate. Sylvia was lying on a bench and staring up at the sky, watching the clouds spin around her head.

But by the time Nick got to her, someone else already had.

“Hey, you good?” Kim touched a bottle of water against Sylvia’s cheek.

Sylvia turned over to look at her, and her face looked a little green.

“…Boobies,” she said childishly, and Kim rolled her eyes.

“Sorry, haven’t got any milk for you,” she dryly laughed. “Ask Mary for that. How about some water instead? It should soothe your stomach a little.”

“Thanks,” Sylvia said, taking the bottle from the older girl. “You’re my savior…”

She took a long swig, having to sit up to keep from spilling it all over her. After a few seconds, she seemed a little more steady.

“Thanks, Kim, you’re a lifesaver,” Sylvia said. “I’m not used to stuff like that… I mean, when I had my powers, something like motion sickness… well, I didn’t have to deal with it.”

She shrugged.

“But honestly… thank you.”

Sylvia took another sip from the water bottle. Then she saw Nick approaching, and she brightened up.

“Oh, Daddy!” She rushed to her feet. “Don’t worry, I’ll be all ready for the next… oof. Um… ugh, sorry about this…”

She had to sit back down. She thought that things had been going great, but when she stood up, her dizziness had come back, and she felt that urge to vomit rearing its ugly head again.

Nick shook his head, and when she tried to stand a second time, he pushed her back down gently.

“You need to rest,” he urged her. “You’re not in the best of shape right now. If you’re feeling better later, then we can go. Or we can just wait for a little bit, and go do something that’s not so intense on your stomach.”

“It’s okay,” Sylvia said, shaking her head. “You don’t need to do anything extra for me, Daddy.” She smiled, but her smile looked a little sad. “Dawn’s still waiting for her turn, after all.”

Nick was surprised that Sylvia would say something like that. “…Are you sure you’re feeling okay?” He asked, placing his hand on her forehead. “You almost sounded nice.”

“Hey,” Sylvia frowned, puffing up her cheeks. “I’m a very nice person, I’ll have you know! There’s no need to pick on me like that, Daddy!”

Nick didn’t like the idea of rewarding Dawn for her bad behavior by letting her cut in line, but Sylvia seemed alright with it.

“Well, if you’re sure,” he said, nodding slightly. “Are you sure?”

“Of course, Daddy!” Sylvia offered him a toothy smile. “After all, you building good relationships with all the girls in your harem is only for the best, right?”

Ah. That did make a lot of sense coming from her, now that she said it out loud. Nick was still a little uncertain, though.

“Well… okay then,” he nodded. “I hope you feel better, Sylvia.”

He turned and headed back to the other girls. Fortunately, Dawn and Rose both looked contrite, in their own ways.

Meaning Dawn looked sad, and Rose was trying very hard to look like she was completely justified in her actions.

“Just so you know,” Rose said as soon as Nick was in earshot, “I only did it because Dawn-”

“Enough,” Nick said, holding up his hand. “Drop it. Talking about that stuff any more isn’t going to helpful for anybody. Sylvia wants to just move on, and so do I.”

“She’s not going to throw up, is she?” Dawn asked warily. It was clear that she might have done that as a bit of karma, but she was still concerned about the other girl’s health.

“She’ll be fine,” Nick assured her. “She’s been throwing up a lot these past few days, I think she’s getting used to it.”

That caused Rose to burst out laughing.

“So what’s the plan?” Rose asked. “Just the four of us, then?”

“Yeah, basically,” Nick nodded, glancing at Dawn. Her tail drooped. “Dawn and I will go together, and Rose, you and Morgana can go together.”

“Uh…” Morgana’s eyes widened and she glanced warily at Rose. The blonde smiled back at her and batted her eyelashes.

“Well, doesn’t that just beat all?” Rose cooed.

“Rose…” Nick’s voice took on a warning tone. “I don’t want you to do what you just did to Sylvia, am I clear?”

“Of courz,” Rose said, exaggerating her accent even more. She lifted the hem of an imaginary skirt in a curtsy. “I wouldn’t dream of it!”

Nick felt that was probably a lie. He turned to Dawn, who still looked unsteady.

“Come on, let’s forget about that,” he said, smiling. “Let’s just have some fun together, okay, Dawn?” He looked at her hopefully, and she nodded, smiling herself.

“…Yeah,” she agreed. “Okay!”

The two of them headed off towards one of the cups, and Morgana moved to follow them, but she was stopped by Rose’s arm around her shoulders.

“Morgana, Morgana, Morgana,” Rose said, clicking her tongue and shaking her head. Her bouncy hair danced around her cheeks. “We really need to have a conversation! After all, we barely got to know each other last round!”

“O-oh…” Morgana stammered, not liking the predatory gleam in Rose’s eye. “What, uh… what were you thinking?” She asked worriedly.

“Oh, nothing special,” Rose purred. “How about a talk about your future with Nick? That should be fun, right?”

Morgana really didn’t think so. But then, she wasn’t exactly good at standing up to beautiful buxom blondes like Rose, especially not when they were being this forward. So with little left to do but surrender, she let Rose lead her away to another bra.

While this was happening, Sylvia moped on the bench. She watched the two groups get into their respective bra cups, and Kim started up the ride.

“Well… at least they’re having fun,” she said, trying to smile. She really meant what she said about wanting Nick to spend more time with the girls in his harem himself- after all, part of the driving motivation that she had been formed by had been to give Nick his happily ever after with a harem of his dreams.

So why did she feel so isolated, doing what she had always thought was the right thing to do? It just didn’t make sense to her.

That's a good question.
