Sadie starts her next chapter

[Sadie's POV]

Sadie looks at Tani's lifeless body. Sadie can't explain it, but Tani already has an...otherworldly quality to her. She looks so pale Sadie thinks, but so beautiful.

Sadie turns back to Elizabeth, who is eyeing her quizzically. Sadie wishes that she could be brave, and reject Elizabeth's offer. But she doesn't want to die. Not here. Not like this she thinks.

Sadie nods at Elizabeth, whose lips curl into the faintest of smiles.

"Say it" Elizabeth says coldly, her eyes narrowing.

"I want to join you. I want to be vampire" Sadie says uncertainly.

"Well, I guess that makes you two tomorrow night's dinner?" Elizabeth says to Annie and Star, who both begin sobbing.

Elizabeth looks at Catherine, who steps forward, biting into her wrist. She holds the wrist out to Sadie, who hesitates. Elizabeth looks impatient.

"Well?" Elizabeth asks menacingly.

Sadie takes the wrist in her hand, putting her mouth over the wound. The taste of the vampire's blood is indescribable. Recognizably bloody, but sweet and thick. Sadie swallows some. It's amazing she thinks, gulping down more as Catherine smiles down at her. Sadie can't stop, the blood tastes incredible. She feels a chill all over her body, a tingling. Catherine yanks her wrist away from Sadie. Blood drips from the corner of Sadie's mouth, and she wipes her lips with the back of her hand.

"It's getting late" Jade says, and Elizabeth nods. Jade steps forward, and in one swift motion snaps Sadie's neck. Everything goes black.
