Sadie says no

Morning came and making the coffee for the girls looked down at the journal sighed before wrapping it back up closed it, "Reading again?" I heard and smiling at Mary who sat next to me in front of the fire studied my hands, "What are they?" i lifted my hand flicked my wrists to show the hidden blade, "The boys could have done with this a while back!" she nodded before staring into the fire reflected on the event, "So many dead and for what? nothing just greed!" I nodded before shrugging said, "Makes you wish you left with me?" she looked back at me before simply saying, "Everyday since you offered, even when you returned to camp to help Sadie and Charles, I wanted to but I was told loyalty was important, it wasn't until later when I realised the truth!" I nodded before smiling said, "We are here now, that's all that matters!" she nodded before looking over asked, "How do they work?" I smiled before opening a crate passed it to her, "Here use my spare!" she slid it onto her wrist and adjusting it to fit her wrist simply spoke, "Flick it!" she flipped her hand back and seeing the blade pop up, I smiled before saying, "You keep it, it looks good on you!" she smiled before kissing me as the blade retracted, "So how do we get Sadie?" "Simple! Tell her we are getting the camp back together again and are going to move South, she will come! I need her help to get Lenny and Tilly, like I said...she will help. but for now we need to pack up!" she nodded before looking over to Karen's tent asked, "What about her?" I looked back before simply commenting, "Leave her for now, it's better if she sleeps it off."

"What do you want us to do?" I looked over to Karen and sighing said, "My idea was to go and let you two create an distraction whilst I get her out but by the look of Karen, you will need to stay here to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid, I'll get Sadie!" I rode down into Emerald Ranch and hitching my horse waited by the side of the building as Sadie's cart pull into the town, "I have told you numerous times to leave the work to me. You are only here to help with the delivery and maintain the household!" Sadie snapped back in protest but getting pistol whipped she fell to the floor, "Don't you dare question me in front of my friends!" they laughed and looking up from the dust Sadie smiled seeing my boots, "Hey asshole's now you are in trouble!" Sadie croaked and smiling at me, I helped her to her feet, "Get away from his wife!" his four friends snapped drawing their pistols at me, "Now, do we have to do it like this? I have only come for Sadie!" they laughed aiming their pistols and sighing within quick succession shot the four men down and looking at Sadie's husband he was met by Sadie shooting him in the back, "Hello Sadie!" I winked and smiling she said, "Come with me, I have an inheritance to collect!"
