What's next?
SIDE Jennifer loves Lana, but Lana doesn't love Jennifer
Day 114
Jennifer read the message Samantha had just passed on to her.
Meet me at my house at 7 PM.
Love Lana.
Lana was supposed to be monitoring the hospital, what was going on that she had returned but didn't want to meet at the mansion? Jennifer desperately missed Lana's touch and asked Hannah to find out what time it was.
Hannah returned a few minutes later, "Just past three, my queen."
Four hours seemed like forever at that instant. "I am retiring to my room, do not disturb me for anything!" She commanded to no one and everyone at once.
Once in the bedroom, she began going through her clothes. She would have to get dressed to meet Lana at her family's house, and she wanted to look her best but not draw any attention from free hosts. After an hour, she decided to just utilise the clothes in her emergency bag. Jennifer and Lana had prepared the bag in case they had to escape with little notice. It held cash, car keys, and a few changes of clothes, among other things. She could use the secret passage to leave the house unseen. The queen's disappearance from the Hive could cause panic, and she didn't want that.
Jennifer was 15 minutes early, she just couldn't wait to see Lana. Rarely before had she felt so excited and amped up just to see someone. Jennifer began to wonder if this was what love felt like, even her Master was perplexed by the odd sensations she felt. When Lana opened the door, Jennifer sprang inside and gave her a big hug and a short, sharp kiss. "I've missed you so," she said.
She was so caught up that she didn't notice how stiff and unemotional Lana was or that none of the lights were turned on. Lana lifted Jennifer off her feet and twirled her around into the dark living room. As Jennifer tried to adjust to the darkness, Lana closed the front door behind them and picked up the bat she had leaned against the wall behind the door.
Jennifer gleefully turned back to Lana and said, "I don't care why you came back before your mission was complete. I'm just glad to see...." That's when the bat hit Jennifer in the side of the head, and she fell **** to the floor.
The sun had just been setting as Jennifer pulled up to the house, and it was still light outside when she came to. She was in Lana's four-poster bed. Her hands were tied to the two posts at the head of the bed, and one of her feet was tied to one of the posts at the foot of the bed. Lana was just tying her final free foot to the last post as Jennifer regained her senses. "Why would you do this? What's going on?" Jennifer felt a sharp pain in her temple and tried to move a hand to feel her head, it was so sore, but her hand wouldn't move. "I really miss you, and this seems kind of kinky, but... did you hit me in the head?" She said with a frown.
Lana had been silent the whole time but suddenly broke into a belly laugh. "You missed me? Did I hit you? I must have knocked a few screws loose when I slugged you. Yeah, I hit you, right in the head with that." Lana pointed to the bat that was leaning against the wall. "And if you struggle, I'll hit you again."
Jennifer was completely confused, her vision was a bit blurred, and the brightness of the bedroom hurt her eyes. The pain pounding in her skull didn't help her think, but this whole situation made no sense. "Lana, darling, I missed you so much. I was dying to see you."
Lana almost fell over as she broke into laughter again. "Oh you don't know how right you are, you stupid bitch."
A perplexed look flashed across Jennifer's face, she lay there speechless. Even with her vision blurred, she noticed that Lana's hair was no longer blond but was now dark. And her skin, normally so white it almost seemed to glow, was now also darker. Jennifer blinked furiously, trying to clear her vision.
"While you have been sitting on your throne and diddling the drones, I have actually been getting things done," Lana said while approaching the bed. "With you as Queen, the Hive will wither and die, with me as Queen, it will grow and fulfill its destiny."
Lana sat down on the edge of the bed, and suddenly, she was close enough that even with her vision hazy, she could finally see Lana clearly. Her face must have given away her shock because Lana began laughing maniacally.
"Do you like my new look? To be Queen, I must look the part. Wouldn't want all those brainless drones getting upset."
It was almost like looking in a mirror, Jennifer thought. The shape of Lana's face wasn't quite right, and some of the familiar bumps and dips in her skin were unfamiliar. But to anyone but Jennifer, Lana now looked indistinguishable from Jennifer.
"What... what... why?" Jennifer stammered.
"We were friends for so long, and I always envied you. Your rich daddy and indulgent mother, popular and pretty, although we looked so similar, everyone fawned over you. Meanwhile, I had to grow up like this." She waved her hand around. Her room was simple and spartan. The bed seemed fancy, but the truth was she had had it since she was 10, a princess bed with a canopy that she had always detested. She felt this way mostly because her cheap father had been so proud of the bed he had found on the side of the road.
"But now I can have a new life, with a rich, never home daddy, and a hot, undersexed mother. She loves her new Master, by the way. Why hadn't you given her one yet? She is a real demon in bed." Lana smiled nastily, and Jennifer cringed.
Lana held up a pair of dirty panties and a bandana. "I was hoping for a more interesting conversation, but you can't seem to fathom all this, and I have more important things to do than monologue." She stuffed the panties into Jennifer's mouth and tied the bandana tightly around Jennifer's face.
Lana stood up, and as she did, Jennifer noticed that Lana was wearing one of her favorite outfits. She tried to scream, but little sound came out.
"Our oven has a bad regulator and often leaks, it's not a problem if you check it every night. I did just before you got here, and it was leaking quite nicely." As she said this, she walked around her room, lighting the six candles she had placed in the room earlier.
"I already smothered those two sad excuses for parents. I suppose I could have put a Master in that whore that birthed me but she didn't deserve the glory of serving the Hive. After the fire, it will be impossible to tell how they died. I suppose they may find remnants of what I tied you up with, a mystery for the fire department, such a shame none of them are women. But the town's medical examiner is a woman and a loyal member of the Hive, I converted her myself. She will identify your body as mine, and no one will be the wiser."
She was about to close the door behind her as she left, but then opened it wide. "Wouldn't want to close this room off from the kitchen now, would we?"
Jennifer pulled at the bonds tieing her to the bed as she tried to scream again. The bed shook, but the bonds held firm as the new Jennifer, formerly Lana, left the house laughing.
Lana sat in the car that Jennifer had driven to her house, waiting. She had lied about having things to do. She was just worried about how long it would take for the gas to build up and ignite. As it turned out, she had plenty of time.
She had been sitting in the car for over an hour now and was beginning to worry that it wasn't going to work when the car was shaken by the blast. Car alarms went off up and down the street. Here and there, a light turned on in a house. The blast had created a small flash, and now Lana could see a steady orange glow in the direction that her old house had been. Satisfied, she turned the key in the ignition and drove off into the night before the authorities showed up.
Less than thirty minutes later, she was naked and sitting in her new throne. "Samantha!" she yelled.
The cute young redhead who had been posted just outside the throne room peeked her head in. "Yes, Jennifer?"
"Where is everyone? I am bored and need some drones to fuck."
Samantha looked perplexed. Just a few hours ago, Jennifer had sent everyone away, saying that she felt tired and not to be disturbed. And she never used words like drones or fuck.
"Umm, ok, I'll go look for some sisters and send them up here, Jennifer."
"MY QUEEN," boomed back Lana.
"What?" Samantha was again confused.
"You will refer to me as QUEEN from now on, never call me Jennifer again!"
Samantha muttered an apology and closed the door as she left, looking for the usual sisters who attended Jennifer.
As she went off, she said to no one in particular, "Man, she must really miss Lana."
